I'm trying to play My Disney Kitchen, I heard it had support for the PlayStation Mouse. Is there a way to use that?

MarioMasta : So you want to use your PC mouse as the mouse in-game?

*edit. Seems like I was mistaken. See instructions below.

MarioMasta :
Jordanv78 :

This game is mouse compatible, and you are actually able to edit the mednafen config file to use the mouse.

In this directory (replace ***** with your user id):

C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginUser-*****Mednafen_new

the file to edit is mednafen-09x.cfg

You'll need to search for psx.input.port1.

Open a search box with Ctrl and F keys, then where it says "Find what:" type in psx.input.port1 and tap Enter. You'll see "psx.input.port1 gamepad" change gamepad to mouse and then save the file with Ctrl and S keys.

Close the configuration file and set the keys by double clicking the game window (the actual mouse keys can't be used, they need to be assigned to a key). The mouse will be in sync with the in-game cursor and the left and right buttons will be used by the keyboard.

It's kinda not worth using the mouse though with the RGR Plugin because you'll most likely have to continuously lift the mouse or move in and out of the game window, since the sync probably won't be accurate.

tRIUNE : Would making the emulator full screen perhaps make it track better?
It would at the very least alleviate the problem of clicking out of the window.

The mouse should be configured by default if you set input 1 to mouse.
If not, you would search for
;psx, Virtual Port 1, Mouse: Left Button
and right under it should read as follows:

psx.input.port1.mouse.left mouse 0

And likewise for right click:
;psx, Virtual Port 1, Mouse: Right Button
psx.input.port1.mouse.right mouse 2

(I dunno why its mouse 2 instead of mouse 1, but I believe that's the proper config)

Vanelan : Fullscreen doesn't help in this case. The problem is that the in-game cursor moves a lot slower than the mouse cursor, so I think lowering the cursor speed of the mouse to match the speed of the game cursor would probably be a solution.

tRIUNE : There is an option for mouse sensitivity as well though.
psx.input.mouse_sensitivity 1.00 (is default)
Perhaps increasing it to 3.00 or higher if desired would help?

... Never mind then. That seems way too complicated for me.
