windows 8 has been a nightmare. i fix one thing and immediately run into another. i just got this computer yesterday with windows 8(not my choice) and i have been jumping through hoops all day bending over backwards to make things work. so far ive been able to handle everything including the plugin not being recognized but now this is happening

This is a common problem, as for the cause I don't know, but it's usually fixed by clicking outside of the game window (anywhere on the page so that you have the web page on top instead of the game window) then tap Ctrl and 0 (zero), then click back on the game window.

I'm not sure this has as much to do with Windows 8. I'm running windows 8.1 and have been for several months now, and haven't run into any issues like this. I'm thinking the problem has something more to do with your graphics settings but that's just a guess at this point with limited information

Does this happen the same way no matter which console/system you try to play

Jordanv78 : yep. done all that. i changed the window size to all the different options and tested most of the screen resolution options. they all have some variation of this problem. one of them made the game fit the window but not the emulator. like the reset buttons werent visible unless you stretched the window out.

ive had alot of issues with 8.1 and screen sizes. i had to set alot of my steam games to not auto resize with high dpi settings. and that was after i lowered the my screen resolution by about 6 levels. at my full screen resolution wow and several other games/launchers were much too small to read. 8.1 has been a horrible experience. 10 cant get here fast enough.

thing1 : From the image it appears he's using chrome. That thread about the chrome npapi plugins wouldn't apply here since he wouldn't be able to use the rgr plugin if he didn't already fix that problem.

tRIUNE : the only thing I can think of is does he have the base version of Windows 8, or the updated version that I think's called 8.1? I think I had a similar problem before the update, and he did say it was a new computer with lots of things changing. Took a few days before I was prompted to do the do the Operating System update.

Jordanv78 : its not the same issue exactly. and all those others are fixed. steam was extremely small along with the battle.net launcher and a handful of games. the launchers got fixed with a smaller resolution and the games i fixed in their properties menu. i tried the same thing with vizzed but it didnt help.
