So I saw this girl in my textbook who looked really attractive. I googled her first name and my textbook name to see if i can get in touch with her.

Her Facebook came up and I added her and messaged her. My friend request still says Pending and she's just reading my messages (they say Seen At) and not responding.....

My messages were just a self-introduction, how I found her & to ask if this website shes a team member of ships to the United States because I checked it out too and I love its products....!

Obviously, I know to stop messaging since she isnt responding, but why do you guys think she isnt?

I would have been flattered if someone recognized me and loved products from a site I run!

Sometimes I do that, I see a message but I don't get a chance to respond. She may be really busy and just not able to respond yet. Or at least that's my reasoning for not responding on facebook. I rarely check it and if I do and see a message I'm sometimes busy so it's a bit before I get a chance to answer it. Just give it a couple of days or so. If she doesn't respond with something maybe she is just shy and doesn't know what to say a lot. That happens a lot with people who are shy.

Well, the fact that she's a model (?) or something like that, she likely has many strangers who try to talk to her. She has no idea who you are, and might not want to add people as friends, or talk to them on FB without actually knowing them.

There are still people in the world who like to know people before talking to them via to social networking. She's probably one of them.

I agree with everyone who has posted in this thread. There is also one other possibility that she might have a facebook and never use it.  Like me~  I never have checked my face book I use it to play some games or just plain never use it lol!

Maybe she gets like a hundred similar messages a day or something? 

All she has to do is click the notification and it'll mark as 'read' or 'seen at _.' Hard truth could be that she clicked the message, saw she didn't know you, or for some reason decided she didn't want to be bothered by you ( a stranger) and simply never looked back. 
Similarly, she could've clicked it and intended to respond but forgot to do so. Then it'd be pretty easy to not reply if she gets a lot of other notifications. 
The final likely scenario would be that she doesn't personally run the facebook page. How big is this person (from a business standpoint)? Was it a personal page you could befriend? Often times that could just be like acceptance to the page's list. And if she's not personally running the page then chances are no messages are ever answered ( or very few). 
In the end you just have to be patient and understand that you are reaching out to someone that does not know you and may very well not wish to know you (her page could also be reserved for people she knows in real life). Just be patient and wait for a reply; it's all you can do. If a week passes and you still haven't received anything I'd count it as a loss and move forward. Good luck

I never told her I'm a lesbian, or that she's cute.
I just introduced myself and told her where I'm from and who I am
