I've re-installed the plugin over and over, restarted my browser and computer and the games still don't load. It was working fine a few weeks ago, but I can't seem to find the problem. Running on Windows Vista and using Google Chrome. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm necessarily adding repetition to the topic but I too run on Windows 8.1 and use Google Chrome but the plugin downloads as a .msi file and does nothing but sit in the "Downloads" folder. For any specifications on what game I'm attempting to play it's Classic NES Series: Super Mario Bros. (GBA) (I know there's a NES/FDS/PlayChoice-10 and is downloadable on Virtual Console but I'm a completionist and just want to find and beat the Famicom and GBA versions). It doesn't appear as any sort of notification on the browser nor does it seem to be simply ignored by the browser. Any input will be greatly appreciated (P.S. I read on others' posts about this and looked at suggestions for said problem; does the plugin simply need to be updated or it's just broken?)

Can you make Vizzed support on Linux?

I Installed this plugin successfully and whenever I try to launch a game it gives me the same message as it would for a user who doesn't have it installed, It keeps on giving me this message and I can't do anything, I've repaired the download and tried to get this thing working. It even says I installed it successfully but I can't do anything. Any help is much appreciated, thanks! =)

GamerKId303 : Not sure if this has been answered for you elsewhere, but no, GameCube games aren't playable on Vizzed at all. As far as disc based systems, nothing newer than the PSX (PlayStation) can be played, and only the PSX item can grant you access to those games.


Naxxy : So is your problem that you cannot find the file after it's already on your computer, or are you asking for links to the download pages for the files? If you're asking where it should be found once it's on your computer, try C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuProgramsVizzed Retro Game Room. I'm not sure if it's the same in all Windows 7 and under, or if it's more user specific, but that's the path used for mine by default.


zombieheroez : Have you switched computers, or did it just stop running on your PC that was previously running it? If it's the same PC, have you installed a new antivirus or other similar product lately? Honestly all I can do is help troubleshoot it based on my experiences, but maybe we can figure siomething out between us.

JCT500THz : I'm not David, but I can say that it isn't likely the plugin will be made compatible with Linux or Mac anytime soon. It takes a lot of money for the Plugin to be developed/updated, and the majority of users run Windows, so for now Windows is likely all that will be supported unfortunately. fahimsta : My first guess in a situation like that is to try starting a game, and when you get that message, look at the top of the game window to see if there's a prompt saying you need to give the plugin permission to run on this site. Hopefully that's all the problem here is.

For the first time ever, I have problems with the plug in.
Yesterday or two days ago, I couldn't connect to the Vizzed Chat Room on Firefox, and I found out today that I can't play in the RGR Room on Firefox...

I can however connect to the Vizzed Chat Room on Google Chrome, and it takes forever to connect to the chat with Maxthon Cloud, or it just doesn't want to load.

I can only play the RGR Game (Such as Super Mario World) on Maxthon Cloud. On Firefox, it doesn't recognise the plug in and on Google Chrome it doesn't load.

Can anyone please help? Thanks

(I think it might be Firefox's last update, I sent them a crash report to the chat room, saying that whenever I try to connect to a chat room, it just crashes.)

TheJmsGamer : Hmm, have you tried re-installing the RGR plugin? It could also be a proxy problem, as I once had this problem too, found out that there was a proxy on that internet.

It says that I can't download it says: look if the program exists, look if you have access to the program, look if the program is a good windows installer program how do I fix this?

If it is indeed Firefox, I won't come in chat until the update that fixes it! It may never get fixed, though...
But it also didn't work with Google Chrome, too.

Hi, I'm new here, but I have the same problem other people seem to be having. No matter if I use Firefox or Chrome, it always says 'plugin not found' I've also tried everything it said on the help page in regards to the plugin, but the error stays.
Additionally, there's also something wrong when I try to play with just Java. It doesn't seem to be playing things that have this location: http://api.kryptonware.com. I added it to the list, same as is described we have to do with vizzed.com, but it doesn't help : ( So the only thing I've been able to play so far is Mario for the NES. Which is a great game, but it would be awesome if any of those two problems could be solved ^^
Any help or tips are much appreciated : )

I have Windows 8.1 and the main browser I use is Firefox. But I have Google Chrome too.

Oh, it turns out that the .msi component was modified, so I downloaded Windows 8 backup file for .msi and now it works. It seems the plugin itself wasn't the issue... My bad.

This is REALLY starting to tick me off... I want to play a hack and I have windows 8 I tried to do the thing where you don't use the regular but it still wont work!
