First of all I want to apologize if there is already a thread like this but I used to have an account and I think that vizzed used to be more popular like I think I remember more people posting and just a more active community so I'm wondering is that just nostalgia making me think it was better or does it actually have less active members?

First off, didn't you just join? How would you know what vizzed was like? Did you used to just come in for a while before you signed up?

It doesn't look like it's dying, not only are there more members than ever, it also happens to be that there's school now, so of course people aren't going to be on, I would say that this is about as active it's ever been at this time of year.

April/May is school finals for a lot of the userbase, so you have to keep that in mind. I expect it to increase a good deal during the summer.

We're also at ~446 posts in the last 24 hours, which is nice for a busy month.

On a side note, re-registering is against the rules and generally results in a ban-just so you know.

I can certainly say: it's not.

I've been here over ten years now, and vizzed is at a point were it goes through little ups and downs each few months, but for the past few years it's been a stable... with maybe a little increase in traffic.

Our views of the site, for example, are doing great, at almost 1.5 billion.

Dying? David does talk about the difficulty of maintaining the website and asks for donations but the community is pretty healthy. Sure, there might be a "rush" of posting during Tour de Vizzed, but whenever I go on a forum topic there is a new subject created.

Plus, there are so many more games than when I joined about 3 years ago.

Since then, it has been in a bit of a decline, and now 300-400 is the norm, as it has been since 2013.
