Hey guys VizzedGuy111 here and I'm going to ask you a question. What is the hardest game you played? It doesn't matter if you beat it or not, but it has to be hard.

The hardest game(s) I have ever played have to be Dark Souls (which I have NOT beaten yet, that is such a rage-inducing game) and Stella Deus. I don't even know why Stella Deus was so difficult for me, but I had ridiculous amounts of trouble the first time I played it, to the point that I dropped it for an entire YEAR before trying again. I NEVER do that to a game.

Dark Souls is being worked on right now, though. I am just notoriously bad at it. It's
hard, but it is actually really fun if I can manage to not rage-quit after dying in the same spot 20 times in a row. I'm typically not bad at games like that, so this has been a bit of a button for me, but hey, I'm getting there! Just taking a lot of time and waaay more grinding than I thought I was going to have to do. XD

The hardest one so far is Vandal Hearts II (PSX). First, your team moves at the same time as the enemy, making planning an attack extremely hard since you will likely swing in empty. Also, whichever magic you cast (heal or attack) will affect EVERYONE in the radius; in other words you might end up healing monsters or attacking your own team. Finally, there was this battle where you had to fight three former bosses at the same time while having to deal with a resurrecting priest at the other end of the battle field. I abandoned the game at that point since I couldn't get through that battle.

There is only one game that I can think of that I couldn't beat no matter how hard I tried...and that game is Kung Fu Heroes for the NES. The most important thing to remember is to get these little treasures that contain certain powerups that you will need to kill ALL the enemies as you progress throughout the entire game. If you miss a treasure, eventually you will be unable to kill enemies if you get far enough in the levels. That's right...the enemies will be invincible, and you'll have to start the entire game over.

However, I finally beat it just recently. I've been playing this game for almost 20 years, and I just beat it last week. Don't get me wrong its a really fun game to play, but its also the hardest I've ever played as well.

For me was Arcana Hearts 3, this game was probably very easy for most people to play. I struggled as I tried to get the special moves to come out for the characters I used, same problems for the normal attacks as well. This game was challenging for me to play but I like fighting games so I kept trying but eventually I gave up. One of the bosses is nearly impossible to beat, possibly one of the cheapest bosses you could ever face.

Aw man, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance ( for PS3 ) was ridiculously hard! When I first saw this game, it was only available for download as a demo at the time and I thought to myself, "Hmm.. a fast paced, hack and slash, ninja type game made by the same developers of Metal Gear Solid? Sure, why not?" and it was really fun at first. If you played on the easiest difficulty, then you could kill your enemies with as little as 1 single swing of your sword. But, if you are like me and bought the full version to try and get the Platinum Trophy for this game, then you know that you have to beat this game on the hardest difficulty ( Revengeance Difficulty ) and complete all missions with S Ranks ( which basically means that you must be perfect in every mission ). Playing on this setting took almost all of the fun out of the game and I tried my best to complete this near impossible task but the game just became too much for me and I eventually gave up. I think it was at about the halfway point in the game where you had to face 2 bosses back to back and I was like "Yeah.. I'm not doing this." You definitely need some quick reflexes if you want to beat this game on its hardest settings.

The hardest game I've ever played was Silver Surfer for the NES. (I played it here) In that game, if you get damaged even ONCE, you get a game over. I've never been able to beat that game, and if anyone here actually has beat it without making a save state on an emulator, then I say they are incredible.

Well, some parts of Grand Theft Auto V are kind of difficult.

I haven't ever beat Spec Ops: The Line, though. That games level changing and hard placed opponents and lack of ammo and--- Well, you get the point. It's HARD. And this is coming from the guy with like a 2 K/D in that game's multiplayer.

Hm... Mario Must Die.

JK, it will probably have to be any Mega Man hack ever (with exceptions), and a Sonic hack. Name? Something like Sonic the Harder Levels or something. It can't be a hack? Um... Kid Icarus?

Ever heard of I Wanna Be The Guy? It's supposedly the hardest game of all time. Many, many people agree on that. I decided to try it out to see how hard it was. How hard is it? Well, let's put it this way... People who play with me say that I'm extremely good at video games. I couldn't get past the first screen. The game is free and only like 60 MB, so go ahead and try it.

The hardest game I have ever played probably would be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles nes. There are a few other difficult games I've played that were difficult to play. Well in this game I'll do good in the first couple of stages or levels, but when it gets to the water I always had problems not going fast enough trying not to get hit at the same time swimming the dam or water level stage its very tricky. Also not to long before that trying to jump across the floor to get the other side not too long before that part was difficult and I thought double dragon II was tough when jumping in certain stages like the invisible steps or the tricky jump where you jump and its going different directions the steps and you have to jump all across just to get the other side I think it might be in stages 6 or 7. Put it like this if you played that game you probably know what I'm talking about those some tough tricky jumps to do.

Excluding hacks, the hardest game I have ever played is Super Mario Galaxy. I was only able to get 8 stars in it before I got fed up and quit. I later sold the game (with the help of my dad) to GameStop because I lost interest in it due to the game being too hard for me. However, I got much farther than that in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Including hacks, the hardest game I have ever played is Super Mario StarRevenge: Night of Doom. I've been able to get over 15 stars in it so far, but almost none of them I've gotten without save states. I could get more without save states, but I don't want to try.

There are so many games to choose from, it's hard to narrow it down to just one. So I will put some of the hardest that I can remember off the top of my head.

Ninja Gaiden 3.

Battle Kid

Battle Kid 2

Ghost n' Goblins

Ghouls n' Ghosts

TMNT - NES

Double Dragon 3

Blaster Master

There are more but those are just a handful off the top of my head that I can remember.

The Legend of Zelda games, particularly Majora's Mask which was a shame because I absolutely love the story. American Mcgee's Alice was hard to get through, but I'd say the crown goes to Dark Souls..
I can't get past the very first boss.. haha!

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
