I plan on totally changing up my Youtube channel and I need all sorts of ideas. First off, I would like ideas for good PC games to play that would still be good without commentary. I don't have a problem with commentary but sometimes getting the cam/audio and the space to talk is tough.

I plan on mainly doing game play videos and the occasional song and need a ton of ideas for what to put into each video and help and stuff.

Would doing game review videos work out? Maybe take a review I did and record myself playing the game while reading the review when I get a chance?

zanderlex : If you're not wanting to commentate much, if at all then go for games with a solid ost, for example I'd personally choose something like Electronic Super Joy. Other options would be point and clicks like the Deponia series where the protagonist is constantly talking.

But in all honesty if you really just want views just play terrible youtube fodder games.

zanderlex : Well in that case, if you get the equipment and space pick something you'd watch, no point picking something like barbie unless you're as big as game grumps.

Reviews can be hit or miss, you'd really need good equipment and would have to promo yourself quite a lot. You could get away with reading reviews you've done by editing them to work in a video format. I recommend picking trending titles like FNAF to start, even if in my opinion they are overated mediocre trash (much like Stanley Parable), they'll still get you clicks.

zanderlex : First up, you're new banner is the entire size of a fullscreen banner, so mobile devices and windoweded screens have the text cut off around the edges and under channel picture. If you take a look at any popular youtuber they utilize the space so that their channel name is clearly readable regardless of window size. Any chance you could get a 720p or better opening?

The ZX thing is pretty cool. It reminds of Megaman ZX/ZX Advent, and even the subconscious thought of that might help your channel (that's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it).
