This may have been my fault to begin with. But I'm now going to set the record straight. I donated out of the kindness of my heard. Yes around 1000 dollars came straight up only last month at 1 time. BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN I'M RICH. I'm going to have to kindly ask that I no longer be asked to buy anything for anybody or anything. I am kind, soft hearted, I give in. But right now I'm putting my foot down. I am no longer going to fund anything that has to do with money. Yes $1000 in just the last month of donations. BUT THAT WAS ALL THE MONEY I HAD LEFT. I had just quit my job at that time and am now going around 2 months jobless,. I donated to put myself in a bind so that I would be more diligent in finding another job quickly. (because I know I'm lazy) But now I have $80 to my name ( and apparently the money loss did nothing for me). That was after the nearly $1000 donation last month. I have been stretching these $80 for a while now and it has to last till I find a new job. I also donated when I was in a manic state of mind during a perhaps bipolar episode I had. I wasn't thinking straight, delusions of grandeur. ALL THAT JAZZ. So I apologise but that $1000 has nothing to do with how much money I have. I also donated to beat a red jersey record because I wanted to I guess contribute to vizzed and hopefully leave an impression on this community that although I was not a good poster I supported this place in a different way. Yes it was my fault that I got myself in this situation. But I would like to kindly ask that no one ask me to fund them money in any way right now. My Donation amount and the amount of money to my name are two entirely different things. I just wanted to make that clear. I will not be funding anyone in any way.

I will be stronger and say no. I will be smarter. I will be more conscious of my actions in the future. I will live my life.

I don't often talk about this sort of stuff, because all it is is asking for trouble, but I think it needs to be said.

Anyone who has asked you for a penny should hang their head in shame.

It is deplorable that people would exploit you for your generosity to Vizzed.

It's one thing if they are a close friend. Close friends sometimes borrow money. I don't lend money to friends, but there are those that do.

But it doesn't sound as if these are close friends and it doesn't sound as if they have any intent of paying you back, and that's a problem I have with people asking you for money.

Good for you for putting your foot down. People are a**h***s.

And as a cautionary tale, I would suggest this to people who wish to donate large sums (over 100 dollars) to Vizzed in the future.

Donate anonymously. You won't get the credit or any of the perks of donating, whatever, but you won't get people bugging you to give them money, which can get very annoying.

camkunimura : I do have to agree with everything you said, because you have donated $1,000 onto Vizzed and others think you're a millionaire. I think what you did to donate to the site is great, but you donating all of that to make you find another job immediately. So, in a way you put it, it's for the best of you and Vizzed.

How I look at it, why in the world wants to beg others for real money or virtual money like viz, DA points and just to name a few.


I sure to hope that this get's into everyone's heads about asking for any cash from you, donating $1,000 doesn't mean you're a millionaire. I know how it is leaving a job to, I had left a job for the 2nd time, and it does pain yourself, but at the same time, you want  to get rid of all the money you had so you don't have the guilt and laziness of not working which is understandable.

The first thing that comes to the mind when seeing your donation sure is "this guy is rich". It came to my mind too, but I didn't care about it, mainly because I don't need to know anything about people of this site if I live an ocean away from like 70% of the active users.

I understand your position, but I'll never understand why someone would think that an stranger would be willing to give them money through this site or any other one. Being willing to donate to this site to improve it doesn't mean you are willing to fund any other projects.

I also understand how you wanted to leave an impression in this site without being a good poster. I myself aren't either, and my way to leave an impression is contributing through the role I was trusted with. I don't think I've had more success than you as of today, but that's off-topic.

Ignore anyone that asks you for money. If they insist, you can use this thread as a reason to report them to the mods. I will have this thread in mind, since I also need to put my foot down in some situations but I'm currently unable to do it.

camkunimura : I hate to say it but i'm pretty sure i warned you about this when we had that massive skype conversation. I'm glad that your not letting people push you around under the assumption that you are rich. Because honestly that behaviour is disgusting.

When my steam shop was open i had a few members ask me for games for free, and i told them to go earn Viz... but then they just used the various threads for asking for Viz....

People are vile beings and most won't think twice about a persons circumstance as long as it improves their own...
