The water temple from Ocarina of Time!
*hides from angry Zelda fans*

Honestly I've never played much of OoT (doesn't interest me) so I have no idea why that temple is so hated. My personal favorite would probably be the first dungeon of Twilight Princess. Really though I liked most of the dungeons in that one. The first dungeon was fun because it was so...green and filled with vegetation. I'm a sucker for greenery in a game. Also the boss fight was hilarious. xD

I also think that some of the dungeons in the first Zelda were some of the best in the series.

On a side note, the water temple and sky dungeon (sorry, I can't remember what it was called) in Twilight Princess were my some of my most hated in the series so far, though I've only gotten to play a few of the titles.

Hmm... this is tough considering that I have taken on every dungeon in the franchise. I'm discounting a lot of the earlier games due to the nature of the older systems making many dungeons feel very alike. So, my favorite dungeon is probably The City in the Sky from Twilight Princess

The factor of how scenic and odd this temple appears is unrivaled. Floating platforms and imminent death looming below you, but it feels soothing and passive as you play. The dungeon itself feels like an entirely new province like the ones before it due to its separate and new design.

Along with this great design and atmosphere, the dungeon item, the second Clawshot, makes exploring not only fun, but match the area around it by simulating flight and airborne movement. Adding to this is new and creative puzzles to match the new item, something the series is known for, makes the use of the new item as well as older ones like the Spinner and Iron Boots much more fun.

The dungeon also contains my favorite boss in Twilight Princess, Twilit Dragon, Argorok. This battle takes the scenery to a whole new level by changing weather to fit a mood during the battle. Clouds roll in as the battle starts, and you attempt to Clawshot your way upwards to weigh Argorok down to the ground with the Iron Boots. Once its armor shatters, storms begin, and you skillfully use Peahats to grapple your way onto its back and stab the dragon in a large weak spot on its back. It feels apocalyptic, epic, and is exactly what to expect from Twilight Princess.

The main problem this dungeon has is simply that navigating its floating ruins can be complicated and difficult, like dungeons before it such as the Eagles Tower and the Great Bay Temple. Getting lost here is not unheard of, but doing so also feels very fitting.

So, enough gushing, I just love this dungeon. It's up there with Stone Tower Temple in terms of mystery and overall difficulty, and the fact that it could possibly be the remains of Skyloft just make the area and dungeon perfect.

Unpopular opinion time!

The water temple from Ocarina of Time!

Yes, it was frustrating. I had my own share of rage-quit moments with it, but it is STILL my favourite dungeon of all time. The concept was just so neat, and the fact that it
was so stupidly hard added to its playability, I think. Made me determined to beat it and not let it beat me...and then once I figured out what I needed to do, it was a piece of cake.

Also I like watching people play, get to that dungeon, and then rage. There is just something about video game raging that strikes me as hilarious and it never, ever gets old, no matter who I am watching.

My favorite dungeon in Zelda is the Water Temple from Ocarina of Time....just kidding. Who in the world would like that?

Yunimori : ....Well..people have opinions xD

For real though, my favorite dungeon is the Shadow Temple in Ocarina of Time. I like creepy and scary things, and this was undoubtedly the creepiest temple in the entire game. The name Shadow Temple has to mean something, right?

I've only played A Link to the Past so my choice is limited. Anyway my favorite dungeon was probably Turtle Rock. It was complex but not hard to get through if you use your brain. It didn't take me a long time to figure out how to conquer the boss...

My favorite Zelda dungeon in the series would have to be the fire temple in Ocarina of Time because for one thing it's inside a volcano, secondly the boss volvagia is so much fun to fight, and I really enjoyed the puzzles that dungeon had to offer.

I haven't played much Legend of Zelda ever, but I do have a favorite temple.
My favorite is the Water Temple, simply because of the amount of people that rage about it on YouTube and it gets on a lot of "Top 10" Hate lists.
Eh, it makes good entertainment.

My favorite is the Water Temple! *gets raged on by angry Zelda fans*

In all seriousness, I don't really have a favorite. Yes, I have played Zelda, but I haven't played enough to have any dungeon stick out to me. So, Water Temple it is!

Oh wow, this is a tough question... I won't make the popular joke in this thread about the water temple (though I never thought that it was incredibly difficult). I would say that I have two dungeons that stand out to me for now. The first one is the Tower of the Gods from Wind Waker. The Tower of the Gods stands out as a sort of transition in the mood of the game of one from simply saving your little sister to saving the world. It also utilizes some interesting mechanics like rising and falling water, cooperation puzzles, and quick and precise aiming. The second of the dungeons are the Arbiter's grounds from Twilight Princess. I liked that dungeon because it had a creepy feeling to it with all of the dead and the ghosts. This dungeon also gives you the incredibly limited-in-its-usefulness Spinner. I really liked zooming around on the tracks with that thing. Anyway, that was my long-winded opinion on the best dungeon(s) that I have played .

The water temple from Ocarina of Time!

*hides from angry Zelda fans*

Honestly I've never played much of OoT (doesn't interest me) so I
have no idea why that temple is so hated. My personal favorite would
probably be the first dungeon of Twilight Princess. Really though I
liked most of the dungeons in that one. The first dungeon was fun
because it was so...green and filled with vegetation. I'm a sucker for
greenery in a game. Also the boss fight was hilarious. xD

I also think that some of the dungeons in the first Zelda were some of the best in the series.

On a side note, the water temple and sky dungeon (sorry, I can't
remember what it was called) in Twilight Princess were my some of my
most hated in the series so far, though I've only gotten to play a few
of the titles.

soulbender1337 :   May I ask why you copied Eirinn's post? There is no need to copy other posts especially when your own opinion is asked. I think your own opinion is different than Eirinn's so I think it would be cool if you edit your post.

On topic, I'd say the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time. I like the theme and the dungeon itself as well. Unlike most dungeons and temples, this one has parts of the temple outside which I really liked. The mini boss battles with the Poe's were really fun and of course the boss battle with Phantom Ganon was awesome. Horse riding in paintings is something you don't see every day.

I like the Sandship from Skyward Sword. That whole area was just REALLY cool. It looked awesome, reminded me of Wind Waker, and was one of the only times Link didn't have to explore some ruins/abandoned building made for the sake of it being abandoned. But the ruins of an abandoned boat filled with skeleton robot pirates, and time manipulation...That's too awesome to NOT work!
My second favorite would be the Wind Temple from Wind Waker. I just had lots of fun going though that one when I played through it years ago. And any excuse to get Link to talk I took! Same with the Earth Temple. (Although throwing Medli and Makar at enemies doesn't work. :/ )
