I much rather play the PC version even though I also have the PS3 version and the Vita version, it's just so much easier for me because of the controls and all the servers and such, and usually I end up recording a lot of the game.

There's no real reason to play any version other than PC unless your PC can't run it, you don't have one, or your friends have a console version. You can record easily, get mods, custom skins (if i remember the Xbox version only has a selection of pre-made skins - and you have to buy some of them), easier connecting to servers and better controls (you can use a controller anyway too). So, I prefer the PC version.

Hmm tough choice, the first version of Minecraft that I played was the Xbox360 version that my brother had gotten for his birthday but I genuinely dislike Xbox I have no idea why I think it is something to do with the controller IDK. Anyway, I got a £20 Argos voucher from my school so I went ahead and got the PSVita version, it had a nice little leaflet with a code for a digital version of minecraft for the PS3 , again I just could not get on with it. At Christmas I got a gift card for the pc version of the game and I have loved it ever since, its practically the only game I seem to ever play now XD So yeah PC is my personal favorite version of Minecraft.

Personally, I feel the only way to play Minecraft is on the PC version. Minecraft on the console versions just don't feel right to me because they severely lack customization, support for any mods, and their worlds are also smaller compared to the PC (if I remember right, its only a few thousand blocks in diameter while the PC is virtually limitless).

I like the PC version I have. It's cool because I don't have to get three different versions, and for me that's all there is. Mobile, Console, and PC. 

I like the PC version, because I don't have to buy a console, or anything. Also, no hassle over the Servers and anything else, I like all my games on one device.

I really think the PC version is the best, not just because it was the first version, but because it had an easy control scheme, and I could easily use the mouse to place and break blocks.

PC version because you can change the version anytime you want (ex: 1.6.4 to 1.8.5) and I have a good PC so it does not lag for me at all. Plus the controls are easy and you can go on online servers.

My favourite update is either 1.7.10 as it's my favourite for modding or 1.8.woteva because you can fly faster in creative which I always hated before 1.8 came out.
