I'm back to do another game guide. And...oh...big surprise, it's another arcade style game! This time I am doing Timon and Puumba's sling shooter. There are a lot of things in this game that make you or break you. So let's get started.

The most important thing that you will need to know in this game is what you can and cannot shoot. Since there are just too many things that you can shoot, I'll list the dudes that you do not want to shoot. First thing that you have to watch out for, is the pond. There are 4 characters that pop up in here. 2 are okay to shoot, and 2 are not. Don't make the alligator cry or the hippo growl! Hit their fakes without hitting them, which is often easier said than done! Especially since the sneaky game makers so often put them behind the real ones. It takes some accurate aiming, but you can hit the fakes. Generally, it's easier to hit the fake hippo when it hides behind someone, because it's taller, and it tends to stick up over the other character. The fake gators beak sticks out to the one side, so if you're careful, you might be able to hit him.

The next character that you will need to avoid is also a little tricky, but not quite so bad as the former. You do not want to hit the butterfly--which hatches from the cocoon, which hatches from the caterpillar. You need to hit the caterpillar when it shows up, just don't  shoot the butterfly.

The next location is pretty easy...Don't hit timon in the tree!

The last location of things that you do not want to hit is under the rock in the center. Several different critters pop up here...Snake, gopher, and timon. Hit that snake and leave the others. What happens if you hit a friend? You lose points! You may even lose time, but I am not certain about that. All right, so that's the run down of the characters not to hit.

Now for the special bonuses! Every level you have one chance to hit a hidden character. Listen closely, if you watch the waterfall, you'll see a red and a yellow fish that fall down the falls, as well as what appears to be a coconut. If you can manage to hit one of these, the waterfall will open up like a shower curtain, and you'll see an ape with a shower cap on who appears to be getting a shower. If you can hit him, it's a 500 point bonus, not to mention the 500 you get for hitting the previous target! But you must act quickly, if he notices the curtain is open, it's curtains for your bonus points! Hitting the ape does not add to your hit total, so it is a nice way to get extra points in the earlier stages.

The next bonus we shall talk about is the fruit bonus. If you read my review, you already know that once or twice a level a fruit will appear at the bottom of your screen and begin to slowly hop it's way across. If you hit these guys, it not only adds to your hit total and gives you points,  but it also gives you extra ammo!

There is on more bonus that I discovered last night that I never knew about in all the years that I played this game. The time bonus...Every so often a thing will fall from the top of your screen that appears to be a ball of Swiss cheese. Hit that, and it'll turn into a cupcake (I know, in what world?) If you hit that cupcake, you get a bonus of 10 seconds. That saved me quite a few times last night and allowed me to get to level 22. (pretty good considering that was my first time playing this game in like...years!

There is a couple more things that I want to go over with you, there are some useless bonuses that fall from the top of your screen. One is a shiny gold yo-yo shaped thing that turns into a balloon and then a stick of dynamite. The other useless bonus turns is a darker orange yo-yo with a lighter shade on half of it. This will turn into a money bag. So, go for the swiss cheese, and not these other bonuses. If you're really good, you could keep going after the ape on every level for all the bonus points, but if you have to waste a lot of shots, I would not recommend it.

The last thing that I wanted to bring up is that swarm of grapes thing that always seems to be a time waster. However, you can't just ignore this one, you have to hit it in order to finish the level. Once you see it one the screen, follow it with your cross hairs. That way, when it stops, you can more easily shoot it down. Well, that's it for now. Hope the info was very helpful. Happy Hunting!
