The Impossible Game is a simple, yet really cool game that came out a few years ago and was made by FlukeDude. Its a really addicting game that can be very hard to put down, and beat for that matter. I first heard of this game sometime last year when I watches Markiplier do a video of it and it slightly sparked my interest but I didn't really go out to get it. When I saw the video, it looked like it could be a lot of fun to try to beat but it also looked like it could cause a lot of pain and anger which is why I didn't right away try to get it, though I did get a few laughs out of the video. A few months later, I was growing the store on my phone and I found out that they had the game and it only cost a dollar, so I spent some time to figure out which would be the more likely scenario, me enjoying the game, or me throwing my phone out the window. In the end I decided to get the game just because it was so cheap, though in regard to the name of the game, it didn't actually take that long to finish it, but the game was a lot of fun to play and listen to.

Graphics - 8/10

The graphics are a pretty good factor of the game and do make the game a bit more interesting because in a way, its the simple designs that make the game so hard. The graphics of the game mainly revolve around shapes, and there's basically three shapes. You have squares, triangles, and well, lines. They are all simple and bland, but they are also sharp and stick out. The designs may be simple, but when it comes to a game such as this one, it turns out to be a lot more than what is needed. Its a sleek and pretty design that's easy to look at and my grade for this category is going to be an 8 out of 10.

Sound - 10/10

Aside from the difficulty, the music has to be the best feature of this game in my opinion. The game has some really good music that actually fits in with what's going on in the game very nicely, I would say that the music fits in with this game more perfectly than any other music In any game. First of all, the music itself is actually really good, maybe even top notch if I can say so myself. The music is energetic and upbeat, it matches with the tempo and style of the game really nicely, and then of course, its also really cool to listen to by itself. What I really like about the music is how it actually matches up with what you are doing in terms of game play. The speed of the game and the music is set up so perfectly that whenever you do something in the game, the song would have a special note for you, like when you are supposed to jump over an obstacle, there will be a special beat and it works out really well. I can't give this category anything lower than a perfect score, so that's what it's going to get, a 10 out of 10.

Addictiveness - 7/10

The game can be addicting, but it also can be not addicting at the same time. The game can be a lot of fun, but once you beat a level, which isn't really as hard as you think, there isn't really much reason to repeat a label unless you are determined to beat the level with fewer deaths or you just really want to hear the music more. The game is fun, but that's really the only reason why you would play the same level over, for a high score. this isn't the kind of game that you would really want to play again for fun because if you get mad trying to beat it the first time, which you probably will get mad, then what makes you think that the 2nd time you play trying for a higher score, that you would be any less angry? If anything, when you are trying to die even fewer times, each and every death would only make you angrier, so this isn't really the kind of game that has a giant replay value. I would play the same level over, but a only a long time after I beat the level the original time. My grade for addictiveness is going to be a 7 out of 10.

Story - 6/10

There really isn't much in terms of a story here aside for the two game modes and then there is practice mode and regular mode. You always start off in regular mode and each time you die, you will start at the beginning. There are flags that you can place whenever you want to mark your progress, and whenever you die, you will spawn at the previous flag. Once you place a flag however, you will no longer be in regular mode and you would now be in practice mode. The only other difference between the two awesome modes is that once you enter practice mode, the awesome music stops playing. Aside for the two different "difficulties", there are two game levels to choose from. The first level is called Fire Aura and once you beat that either with flags or no flags, you unlock the 2nd and final level which is the XBox Indie level. Aside for those two levels, there are a few medals for you to acquire, and that's really all there is to the story. As for story, I am going to give this game a 6 out of 10.

Depth - 5/10

As for Depth, I would say that there's even less depth than there is story, and that's because its true. The game itself is just so small with just 2 levels, but that's perfectly fine since the game did only cost one dollar, but still, you get what you pay for. There's only two levels that you can choose from and nothing else, there isn't any sort of customization of any sort, and that's really about it when it comes to depth. The game does have depth, but is just has a really really small amount of it and my grade for the depth of this game is going to be a 5 out of 10.

Difficulty - 8

As for the difficulty, I did say its a lot easier than it looks, but it can still classify as one of the hardest games that I have ever played. Even with you placing as many flags as you can, you will probably still find yourself dying over and over because the game is simply that hard. Even after I had gotten accustomed to the map and game, it would take me about 60 to 80 attempts to beat the level, and that's with flags all over the place so I wouldn't have to start over. Playing regular mode and having to start from the beginning each time is a nightmare and I don't think I ever passed more than 10 percent of a map before dying, its that hard. I'm pretty sure that someone who is good at the game and plays in regular mode could still die at least a couple hundred times before finally beating a level. The ga.e is hard and for that, my grade for difficulty is going to be an 8.

Overall - 8.2/10

Overall, the game can be very hard and is very small, but it also happens to be cheap and a lot of fun. If you have not played this game yet, I'm pretty sure that just the price alone should be enough to convince you to get it. Its cheap, its fun to play, and it has epic music to keep you entertained, that's all I need to know when discussing a good game and my overall grade for The Impossible Game is going to be an 8.2 out of 10.
