*gasps* A post from Q!
Hi Q!    I think you're probably one of the most summoned people on vizzed, tRIUNE aside. Thus, when I saw your name in a thread, I was like "Oh, it's Q!"  Then I opened the thread and was blown away!  lol

I don't really understand abstract art, but I have to say this is AMAZING.  How long does that stuff even take, and what program are you using?

I like how hovering over the images gives their names. How do you decide what to name them?  Does the painting somehow portray those ideas and feelings for you, or are they what you were feeling / thinking about when you created them?  What do you do with your art once it's done?  (As in, do you sell it, give it away, or just stash it somewhere?)

I'm glad you all like it. Creating these pieces is something of a chaotic process. I try a multitude of things before deciding on something I'm happy with, and each individual piece can have several steps like that. It's all done in Photoshop, though, which streamlines this process. Therefore, the end result can take as little as 15 minutes to as long as over an hour to reach.

Their titles exist mostly as an afterthought. In some way, each piece conveys to me the idea that their titles suggest, but I try to leave it vague enough to leave plenty of room for interpretation. (I'll try not to go too deep into this topic, but, in my view, the subjective experience another gets from my art is more important than any "objective" meaning I could impose onto it.) Their creation is definitely influenced by mood at the time, but its influence on the title is ultimately pretty indirect.

The only thing I do with my art is post it on the internet for all you lovely people to see and maybe enjoy. It's just a hobby of mine, so I doubt I'll ever do anything else with it. If I ever become famous enough that people actually want to buy my art, then I'd be happy to sell it, but I don't think that's changing any time soon.

Anyway, that's enough of my rambling on the subject. Here's one more:

These are  now my favorite pieces of abstract art out of all that I've seen. They're so beautiful! I don't even understand how you did that! Amazing! I'd love to see more work from you!

Oh, wow, this is really nice! How could you make all this in Photoshop? I can't even make a good drawing on a piece of blank (or notebook) paper! This is just, beautiful! You need to put this in a digital frame for sure! You need to open a Photoshop art gallery!

Q : Wow, some of this is really amazing, some make me think of some of those videos that play when you're listening to music on computers. I really like almost all of these, good job.

My gosh, how long does it take you to make these? I really like some of these. I absolutely love the first three and the last three, those are my favorites, especially the animated one.

I'm glad you like them. It takes anywhere from 15 minutes to over an hour to finish each one of these.

I've decided to focus on doing animations now. They don't take much longer to make, actually.

I never really liked abstract art, but this... this is way cool.

I could stare at those animations for hours. Do you plan on making any more, specifically ones that are different colors (like that last green/pink animation)?
