Ok, I don't know how many people this has happened to, but have you ever went to sleep, had a dream, then woke up and later that day/month/year that dream actually happened? It's sort of like you see a small part of your future. I'm not talking about a huge chunk of that day, I'm talking about a small 5-10 second scene that you have a dream about, forget it, and then you get hit with "Holy ****" when it actually happens in real life. Haha, when it happens to me, I stop what I'm doing, stare off into space and realize I remember this happening before. It's like Déjà vu.

The last time this happened to me was about 3-4 months ago. I had this dream a couple months before then and all I could remember was I was at my friend's house and we were watching something on TV and my friend said something. Keep in mind it was a show I never heard of or have ever seen before that I saw in my dream. I forgot about the dream and thought nothing of it when I woke up though. It was a small dream, only like 5-10 seconds of something that seemed realistic.

Well, I forgot about the dream and never thought of it again until one day. I was at my friend's house with one of our other friends and we were sitting in the exact same spots we were sitting in my dream. Not only that, but we were watching the same show that was in my dream, which happened to be called "Ridiculousness." I felt like I was smacked in the face when my friend started to say the same thing he said in my dream. I even knew how the sentence was going to end. Just like in my dream, he finished the sentence exactly like I knew he would. It gives you a really weird feeling. Not really a creepy feeling, more of an excited, "Am I a psychic?" feeling.

This has happened to me probably about 10 times, I just sort of forgot the other times after they happened to me. I'd say the first time it happened to me was when I was 6 or 7, but I don't remember what it was about. Honestly, I just want to know that I'm not the only one with awesome psychic abilities like a god . The only thing is I can't control it and it just happens randomly.

It's honestly the weirdest feeling I've ever experienced in my life when I find myself experiencing something I've dreamed about. I'm wondering if everyone is able to do this, but most people just don't realize when it happens. Maybe I'm just a magically special person :/. It would be a really cool power if I could control it . What if it's a sign that I'm a psychic ? Now I'm making myself laugh xD.

I actually HAVE had this happen before, but I can't remember for the life of me what it was about! I only remember it because, as you said, it is SUCH a freaky and bizarre feeling!  LOL  I do remember that whatever it is, it was a shot event.  Whatever was said in my dream, after I woke up, my husband said almost WORD FOR WORD.  I wish I could remember what it was, but I think it's only happened to me once.

Otherwise, I guess the closest I've gotten to this... is when my dreams give me GOOD and VALID advice for situations. Has that happened to you?  It's kind of weird to think that your subconscious can give you advice that's quite good, and that you never would have thought about when awake.

Although I highly doubt you're a psychic.    It's nice to dream about though, right?  (hehe, punny?)

Singelli : Yeah, it's extremely weird that it happens... Maybe we're both psychics . I have had dreams where I think of answers to my problems but I don't know when because I don't care about that as much as I care about being able to see things before they happen . I could be a psychic, you never know... I need to hone my powers . Where's the nearest psychic dojo thing? xD

(P.S. The Vizzed spell check system doesn't think dojo is a word xD. Maybe get that fixed? )

Actually, you did make me think of something else, though this wasn't the example I was thinking of earlier.  

When I was a senior in high school, my dad was taking college classes. However, he'd often ask for my help. Well, one day, he couldn't come up with a solution and when he asked me... I couldn't either.  This really, really bothered me and I was still thinking about it as I went to bed.  Then, the WEIRDEST thing happened! I dreamt about the problem and came up with the answer!  It was almost like this 'duh!' moment! I jumped out of bed and went to tell my dad, and he thought I was absolutely nutty.  lol  He teased me for the longest time about solving math problems in my sleep.

Singelli : Haha, you should tell your dad about it again. I'm assuming he forgot, so I think it would bring back memories to tell him xD. Sure, it might end in him teasing you for the rest of your life, but it would make him laugh that's for sure.

Something with me is that I don't remember my dreams. That dream that I said in this thread is the last dream I remember having. The only reason I remember that dream in the first place is because it ended up happening in real life .

The only other dream I'll probably ever remember happening was when I was in 6th grade and I dreamed I was being chased by the cops in a yellow corvette and I crashed it into a telephone pole. I was taken to jail and when the bars to my cell closed (cheesy, right?), I woke up. This dream was probably because I was playing Need for Speed before going to bed, but it was memorable because I forgot about the dream until later that day in the school's cafeteria when I remembered the dream and I was quickly startled wondering if I was still in jail xD. In my defense, the cafeteria had very boring and dull colors ... 

All the time. The only thing is that I tend to not realized I had the dream until the event is just wrapping up. It is very annoying. 

I think I generally have a 1% chance though of knowing about the event thanks to the dream before it actually happens. It has happened before, but only a few times. 

thing1 : Yes, I'm not alone! Haha, sometimes I feel like it only happens to me, because I've asked this to my friends and they say I'm crazy . Now I know I'm not, but I don't know why it happens or how many people it happens to :/. You have to admit it's pretty cool though, am I right? 

It is very cool. I like to think of it as a 6th sense. 

MCJungleKitty : Wow nothing like that's ever happened to me before and quite honestly I don't ever think it will but if somehow some way something similar were to happen to me I don't know how I'd feel it would be so weird.

MCJungleKitty : well, when I used to actually like Nintendo, I dreamt that i had gotten a Nintendo 64 with banjo-kazooie, goldenrod 007, and pokemon snap. 2 months later, I walked into a store, and purchased those games.

gamerforlifeforever2 : Haha, yeah, I guess I should feel special . It's quite the experience, it honestly gives you a feeling you can't explain. The weirdest thing is that I can't control it, it just happens :/. It's pretty random, and I wish I could control it .

noahs_brother : That's not exactly the same thing xD. I guess it gave you inspiration for what you wanted to buy, but it isn't exactly having a dream about something in the future . Unless you dreamed about those games before they came out... But I feel like you didn't . I doubt it gave you the same feeling it gives me when what I explained in the thread happens to me .

I've had plenty of "Déjà vu" moments throughout my life and.. I just get completely creeped out.
One time.. and I still remember distinctivly what happened.

Ok, so a couple years back I was dreaming about just a nice day, blue skies I was riding my bike around the
block (i was young ambitious 11 year old) and I crashed.. bad.. I had broke my arm and some man picked me up
and  took me to the hospital. Called called my parents and they came. Then i woke up.

Well about 4-5 months later I was riding my bike now it was a bit different.. instead of around the block I was
just riding up and down my street and you can guess what happened.. I crashed and broke my arm.
Even the man in my dream was the same man that took me to the hospital.
Reason he knew my parents number was because he was our neighbor who lived down the street.
Also the reason why my parents didn't take me to the hospital was because they both worked an I
had a babysitter (just clearing that up)

Anyway all in all that freaked me out for a long time and I thought I had super powers xD but, hey
I was a kid. So yea HAVE FUN DREAMING!

P.s: Now I don't remember my dreams cause i sleep too heavy +1

Well, no, I never had a dream that actually happened... but I'm glad that it's like that, because I mainly have nightmares, so... lucky me

You mean like a vision? Why yes, I have. I think the last time was in November. In the dream, it was around Christmas time and my whole house was decorated with the same decorations as last year. My whole family came together, including me, and started opening up presents. My sis got some clothes (2 long sleeves and a short sleeve). After that, it was my turn. I started opening my present, which was the exact drawing tablet I wanted from eBay.

Fast forward to Christmas time, and what do ya know? The exact same thing happened! It was one of the most weirdess, yet awesome moments in my life.

This happens to me sometimes, usually in the summer. But never have I had dreams where I get a present of the same exact thing! Heck, even the model was the same!

SonicFan22 : Haha, that's how I am too . I rarely have dreams and I don't remember them if I have them unless this happens :/.

MisakiMei : Yeah, that's how I used to be... Then I just stopped having dreams/remembering dreams. It's kind of weird. The only time I remember dreams is if the same thing I explained in the first post happens .

Kuti_Kat : Vision is a way better word, thanks . It feels so weird, but it feels awesome at the same time! It's so weird, especially when it's exactly like how you dreamed it .

(Do day dreams count to? What about just knowing what's about to happen?) That happens to me every now and then. Sometimes I recognized it happened after it happens, or I realize it's happening before/as it's happening.

One time, I was thinking while in the car, and I realized I was thinking the same thing that had happened (Which was me thinking that the thing wouldn't happen, and I was trying to deny myself in a loop of denial. Not the first time something like that happened).

A few other times when this happened, I knew what my friend was about to say because of the said dream, and said what they were about to say. (This freaks him out a little bit, more or less it amazes him)

When it does happen, it's usually when it's in a scenario that you think won't happen.

thecrzyguy : Lol, no, day dreams don't count . Or knowing what's going to happen . Yeah it's extremely weird... But it's also extremely cool . I was never able to say what they were going to say because I was frozen thinking about how weird it was and how weird the feeling I just got was . Yeah, it's pretty random when it happens. I want it to happen again, just for the feeling .
