Was looking to play some classic SNES or Genesis games with strangers on occasion, however the Netplay area appears to be dead - which is disappointing. I'd hoped that given how many free games are available that the online community would at least be as active as Gameranger.

Or is it just a slow time of year? Are there ever lots of open rooms available in Netplay, or is more of a thing mainly for small groups of friends who know each other and get together to play there? Thanks.

I also must warn you that the SNES netplay does not work properly and is often very laggy and desyncs quite often.

Ace102 : Typically, anything on NES works well.
In my experience, Genesis tends to work well.

As thing1 mentioned, Bomberman '95 works well (which is Turbo Grafx).
