They go on sale the morning of Saturday, December 6th at store.sony.com for slightly more than the cost of a regular PS4. Only 12,300 will be sold WORLDWIDE. That number was chosen because the PS1 was released in Japan on 12/3 in 1994, twenty years ago today.

Who else is going to try to get one?

That's a very nice color scheme for a ltd. edition PS4. The downside's that only some of these consoles will be sold to shoppers.
