I don't like excessive violence in video games. I mean they give you bonus points for killing people. Is that how people should think. Oh, let me kill this person, so I'll get extra money or something.

This question has been asked by many on here. Violence is okay in games, but it must be within a limit. If violence is the point of the game. (I am thinking of games that like to make gore the game, ones such as Mortal Kombat.) These games are wrong, but because they make it their focus. Games that have violence in them are fine, but it should be kept slightly realistic. There are also games with violence, that try to make you leave the people alone. (Stealth games often reward greater for bypassing guards.)

What do you define excessive violence as? Have you played a game to find that it boasted too much violence? What brought this topic to mind?
