This will be the first One part Guide I'm making. This is for the Game Portal, I am switching between playing and writing, so if I leave something out, I'm sorry. As this is a puzzle game, there may be multiple ways of beating this, but this is the way I have/will do. This is a mod of Half-Life 2, so if you have played it, you will learn the game mechanics easily!

Part 1: The Sleeping Chamber and First Testchamber.
These are just to get used to the controls, there is no real hard thing here. You will start facing the roof, a glass panel will retract and you'll get up. The room you are in will have a few things. A computery sounding voice will speak up in a few seconds. (GladDOS remember that name, it's important in this game and the next Portal game.) She will open the door/ Portal, go through the orange circle, then leave the room. (There is only one way, it's around the glass room you just left.) You will now enter another room, in here, there will be a large red button, if you want to, step on it, this will open a door, but as soon as you leave it, it will close the door. A box will drop on the left side of the room (Facing the door connected to the button) place this box on the button and have leave it there, exit through the door. (The energy field won't hurt, so don't worry.) Enter the elevator, and listen to GladDOS talk, after a while, it's just humor, but it can get annoying. Congrats, you now have mastered some of the basics in Portal! (There will be more, so don't worry.)

Part 2:
Test 2
The last one is really not counted as a testchamber, so I'll count this as Testchamber 1.5... The white door to the elevator will open, and you will need to go down the hallway, turn left (follow the hallway, there is no option here) and you will notice that there will be a drop to a larger room, which has those glass panels there. Go down there, and turn facing the direction you just dropped down from. (This part can take several tries, as you only have a few seconds to enter an leave the portals...) It will cycle between the two rooms, and you will need to enter a suggested number of 8 portals to beat this. (If you enter each time they open one. After beating it before, I can get it to 6 times.) Now, wait for the orange portal (the color refers to the outside edge of it, and not the actual portal itself, but this will be important through the entire game. Wait until it gets to the brick/ block. Enter, grab the block, if you can, enter the room you came from immediately. (No big deal if you can't... I didn't. Wait until you can get back to the main room. Wait until you get to the button room (face the portal) and enter it, drop the block and head back out... It will open the portal to the door, and you will now be able to leave this chamber... Enter the elevator and you have completed this!

Part 3
After you leave the elevator, follow the hallway. You will be staying in the room for a few seconds while GladDOS talks to you. Look through the glass, and you will see the Portal Gun. Wait until she opens the door. Head through it. Go through the door, and head down the stairs. You will now see a small square hole in the wall. Look through and the gun will shoot a hole through an energy and will create a portal there. Enter through here, and this will give you entry to the room with the gun. Grab it, and you will really need this, and it won't be an optional thing. When facing the hole, turn left. Look up, and this will be the exit. You will need to shoot a portal, to get outside of the ditch thingy... Head through the door, and enter the elevator!

Part 4
This one is a little harder. You will now need to master motion through portals. Leave the elevator, go through to the platform. You will notice that there is a drop and some stairs, just go down go up the stairs... The next one will require the gun. Shoot a portal into the wall on the other side. On your right there should be the other portal, that was harder than the other ones, but still easy. Because the next one needs as much explanation, I am merging the two. Part 5 This one uses all of the things you learned. Head out and go into the main area. You will notice a small area that is down farther, this is past the button and glass panel. Shoot a portal to get the block up, this will drop the thing right by the button. Place it on the button and you have gotten this part. (You will still need to head down to the door, which is right across the room from the button.

Part 6:
You will now enter a room with two buttons. One will be on the platform on the side of the wall you just got in (From the entry-way.) It will be on your left when entering. But you need to get on the other platform first. To do this, shoot a portal anywhere, it will take you up on a platform and will let you continue with the mission. Once there, shoot a portal to the platform across the room. This should get you the one block. Place it on one of the buttons. (It really doesn't matter, because you will need to get the other.) Jump down to the main level and head over to the left (facing the far wall from the platform) there will be a "dent" in the ground, and this holds the other block, shoot a portal, bring it up and head back up to the platform where you have the orange portal. Grab it, put it on the button, and head out of the room. You will have to shoot a portal on the wall to get out, I'm not sure why they just had you go to the elevator here, but whatever.
