Im new here and I started a file of pokemon crystal version under the java emulator.when I try to load the game the screen says that this game pak is designed only for use on the game boy color. can someone help me load my file. Im using windows 8 and I have the latest version of java (7.25 I think or something like that) Thanks!

vanelan : For me, on the java emulator it says its blocked and the RGR plugin it says it can only be played on Game boy color. I can't get either one to work. So I'm having the same problems with the game as Traveler55.

vanelan : I have the plugin installed, it works for almost every game, Crystal starts working fine in the RGR plugin but it says it can only be played on the GBC right after the opening scene when I choose new game. If I try the java emulator its blocked.

Unfortunately the file for this game is not an accurate file. The file which has been submitted for use is actually a hacked version ( I didn't submit it). The hacked version which is used is to enable the clock stuff with the RGR Plugin, which explains why it doesn't work with the Java emulator.

I'd fix it, but it would make matters worse because a lot of people would lose their save files.
