So, I will have some money soon, and I plan on getting at least one of the systems. I know I will eventually get an XBOX ONE, but I wouldn't mind having a PS4 either. Only thing is, if I plan on playing the XBOX ONE the most, I'll probably only the PS4 for sports games that aren't Madden and PlayStation exclusive titles.

Now, I have enough to get bothon Black Friday if I really wanted to, but I need some help choosing which one to get first. Or, should I go ahead and get both, or don't get either of them?

PS4 is more powerful, so go with that. I would honestly say just get a PC, but it's your decision.

If you don't already have one, I'd suggest a Wii U. The Wii U has quite the developed library already, and many of its games have received very solid reviews. This early in their lifespan, the Xbox One and PS4 have very few games that have received great reviews, and those that receive great reviews are often remakes or re-releases. The Wii U just has the best exclusives at this point in many genres, and its games have received the most acclaim so far. Later on, there will be Xbox One games and PS4 games that just blow peoples' socks off. But though sales were higher than the Wii U, the PS4 and Xbox One had very disappointing launches and games that should have been amazing disappointed.

My suggestion: Get a Wii U on Black Friday (possibly the bundle deal from Best Buy that includes 5 games I think?). Then, when prices go down and the libraries have been fleshed out, perhaps in a year or so, buy an Xbox One or PS4. If there's a certain game that has amazing reviews that would be expedient for you to pick up on release date, go ahead and buy the corresponding system, if you can afford it. But good things (good prices, among other things) come to those who wait. I've waited months to years for certain games because I wanted to build up a good library. Now I have over 300 games on Steam, built up over about 2 years. Patience isn't as rewarding for consoles sometimes, but the same principle is still true.

Also, what sop said. PC is awesome (and DEFINITELY the cheapest in the long run). But not the best for everything. I love consoles for certain things, but do most of my gaming on PC these days.

I really think that the Xbox One has several game coming up that are going to be awesome. The PS4 has many exclusive titles. You are a 360 guy, so you will most likely like the improvements that the Xbox One made on the 360. If you only get one (If you can get both) go with the Xbox One.

I'd say get a pc instead. Some games from console are on pc and pc has its exclusives too. You can get games really cheap with steam trading too.

I would say get both. I would recommend this because both game consoles have great games and they are just going to get better. The exclusives are great too. Plus with the store you get all the classic exclusives too. I personally don't have either one yet, but I love the exclusives on both like Halo Guardians and LBP3. Plus, you can get games from the Xbox Arcade and classic PS1 exclusives everyone seem to forget about on them as well. If you are looking for the most fun out of your gaming experience then I would get both, so you don't miss out on some great titles later on. Getting a high-end PC is a great option too, but then you can't get some awesome console exclusive titles like the Tales of games (if you like RPG) or some others. In the end though, it really is up to you. If you can only get 1 or decide to get just 1 get the one that your friends have so you can enjoy games with them.
