Hey All,

A Problem here.

Every game I tried for the PSX has audio problem ( it stutters and echoes ), but it only occurs when I am not charging my laptop.

When I DO charge my laptop, the audio runs fine.

Does anyone know what causes this?

Thank you.

az : It sounds like your battery cannot keep up with the demand the PSX games puts on your system.  I am thinking your battery might be old, I suggest taking it to a computer repair store and ask them test it (make sure it is fully charged first).  Just because the voltage is good enough to run your laptop doesn't always mean that it can perform well under load.

medieval zombie :

Thanks for the reply.

I did further research and yes under the power option, I changed it to give more performance power and now it works fine.

Typically, laptops lower speed to save on battery.
Since you changed it to performance, you will notice the battery life will be significantly reduced.
