An update: I can't upload files for PlayStation to the sever since the last server migration.

There will be a new location for me to upload them, but none has been provided thus far.

As soon as I can I will fix the games reported.

tRIUNE : As soon as you get access again, Battle Arena Toshinden 3 has the same issue as the previous game I reported.

Recently, I've been having a problem with a few PSX games not responding to controls. It's only a few PSX games, however. Those being Suikoden, Crash Bandicoot, and Persona. Suikoden and Crash won't respond to any controls. Whether I map them to a keyboard or an Xbox 360 controller, they don't work. They've worked perfectly fine before, so I'm not sure why they won't work now. With Persona, I can get past the start screen. But when I get to the dialogue, the controls cease to function. Anyone know what's wrong and/or how to fix it?

Sorry for double post everyone.

DRGspirit :
I know that some games require an analog controller and others won't work with analog controllers (no idea why ^^; ).

To change the controller type, press ctrl+shift+1 until you get to dual analog (not dual shock) and you may have to reconfigure your controls.
Also, please make a topic for an issue.
It makes it a bit easier to track the issue and allows the staff to reply and attempt to help you.
This thread is strictly for games that aren't loading or have other serious gameplay issues.

Sandvalanche : That bug is triggered after pulling the 1st lever in the level actually, where if you press the select or start button after pulling the lever the game will freeze. The fix is to find a save crystal and save then reset the game and load the file back to "Current Position". Fortunately, there is a save crystal to the left through that door in your screenshot. Save there then reset and load the file, then pulling that lever won't freeze the game.

For quick access to test it out, you can load this save state which will take you directly to that room in your screenshot:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/upload/files/Tomb_Raider_mc0.zip

Extract the archive and cut/paste the file
Tomb Raider (USA) (v1.6).8f226f0daef56b7c3e351857f3a71ff7.mc0
into this directory on your computer:
C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginUser-254269Mednafen_newmcs

Simply open a Run box by holding the Windows key () and pressing the R key. In the box copy/paste that file address.

cnw64 : ATV Mania is fixed now.

I'm still working on fixing the rest of the reports, hopefully I'll have them fixed within the next day or two.

I was able to get to the remaining reports sooner than I thought.

strife98 : Spyro the Dragon is fixed now.

Jordanv78 : 'The Legend of Dragoon' loads fine for me. Try reloading the game window. Or maybe try deleting the file from your plugin folder. You should have the following files extracted to the game folder in the Roms folder:

-Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 1).bin
-Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 2).bin
-Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 3).bin
-Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 4).bin
-Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 1).cue
-Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 2).cue
-Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 3).cue
-Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 4).cue
-Legend of Dragoon, The.m3u

The Game of Life is fixed now.

Regarding the bug with 'Resident Evil: Director's Cut' I'm not sure either, but it doesn't seem to be a game-breaking bug since you can exit the menu and progress past hat part.

Vanelan : Crime Killer and Battle Arena Toshinden 3 are fixed now. Those tracks in the cue sheet are supposed to be there, but they pointed to files that were missing.

metalizer101 : Ape Escape is fixed now.

tRIUNE : Ok. I just thought the cue was wrong because I downloaded those 2 games from somewhere else that didn't have the file split like that.

Thanks for fixing it. :3

Jordanv78 : I added Resident Evil: Director's Cut - Dual Shock Ver. now which doesn't have the controller screen problem. The dual shock doesn't need to be configured to play it, so it seems like a coding bug with Mednafen.

I don't know whether it's my computer or the game itself, but I can't seem to keep a save file in Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions - every time I load it up, I have to start over. Save stating does seem to get around this, but I'd just as soon have this not be a problem in the first place. And while on the subject, is it not supposed to have Dual Analog/Dual Shock support?

Johnny Eagle : I tested the game and was able to load my save file. You should have the following save files located on your computer in this folder:

C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginUser-473086Mednafen_newsav

• Metal Gear Solid - VR Missions (USA).7ea8d897b13e83899c7274cad5921428.0.mcr
• Metal Gear Solid - VR Missions (USA).7ea8d897b13e83899c7274cad5921428.1.mcr

You can switch between controller type with Ctrl + Shift + 1 (number key) to select Dual Analog or Dual Shock controller.

Beastmode64 : I'm not able to refund your PSX item since it can no longer be resold unless you own 2 of them.

tRIUNE : I'm aware that I can change controller types like you stated. The problem is, the analog controls don't work when I switch to them for MGS: VR Missions, yet when I load Sypro: Year of the Dragon, and switch to dual analog there, it works fine. Save file's working fine though - I probably missed something before.

Johnny Eagle : I see what you mean now. That's strange, the Dual Analog doesn't work for that game, but DualShock works. Must be a coding bug with the emulator. You'll have to assign the rapid buttons to a keyboard key for DualShock (unless you have a 16-button controller), since for whatever reason Dual Analog doesn't require assigning rapid buttons, but other than that DualShock works fine for that game.

the Legend of Jon : OK I fixed it, not sure what the deal was. I had to upload an entirely different file (different source with different file name, but works the same).

Unfortunately save data made with the previous file will no longer work.
