You read right, we are fighting shapes of all sizes! Apparently, Geometry class got a little out of hand and the shapes mutated and have become lethal weapons! Grab you tank and your drone and blast your way through the galaxies. This extremely fast pace arcade/action game has a lot of cool stuff to offer. With tons of obstacles and challenges, Geometry wars galaxies is sure to be a hit! It's out of this world! (Or at least outside of geometry class!)

Graphics: 9. Well, for graphics that use straight lined polygons for enemies, the graphics are completely awesome! I was blown away by the simplistic beauty of the graphics. While the worlds really do not change much at all, the graphics for the sparks and ricochets and shots and explosions and pretty much everything are just astounding!

Sound: 9. With catchy tunes and clear sound effects, the sound is explosive! There is not one tune from this game that does not get stuck in my head, and they are all great to listen too (even if only in my head!) The sounds from your drone are great. I like how they give different sounds that let you know what he is doing. The blasts and laser sounds are superb. There really is not one thing that I could find wrong with it.

Story: Well there is not a story here, but an arcade game like this needs no story!

Depth: 9. Well if going across many galaxies is not enough for you, there is a special galaxy that you can unlock only if you link to the DS version of this game, and they also included Retro evolved in this title. I still have not beat the game yet. (let me tell you, there are not many games that I can say that about anymore)

Difficulty: 9. It is a very fast paced game that is easy to learn, but tough to master. I still have earned only a couple gold and silver medals, since most of the levels set a score that really stretches my abilities thus far! (Like having to score 60,000,000 points--no that is not a typo! 60 million points! I do not know about anyone else, but I thought that was just crazy! 

Overall: 9 This game has it all! Great graphics, stellar sound, extreme addictiveness, and a deep bench of stuff to throw at you! This game is one of the toughest that I have seen in a long time; perhaps that is what attracts me to it. At any rate, Geometry Wars Galaxies is a fast paced game that combines speed, skills and scores to make the epic arcade title. I highly recommend this title to anyone! It will fit the arcade folk, it will fit the action folk, it will fit those that demand high quality graphics. (Okay so maybe it will not fit the RPG lovers, but even racing lovers should enjoy this one!) If you have a Wii U or Wii, I would seriously suggest this modern day gem!
