Hey, everyone. I'm making a thread bout what I did today. We have a store where you can buy all kinds of different technical stuff, it's really big. And when I entered it.. there it was a arcade cabinet with 60 games.

My father was with me, and he is awesome at pac-man as he played it a lot in the 80's. We played it a lot together, and I never knew that he was so awesome at it.

I also played donkey kong and alot of other games. It's really quite an experience, I never touched an arcade cabinet, and this was really cool. However, Donkey kong jr. I hate you. 

So yeah, Just wanted you to know, this completely useless information, It's really awesome and a lot different then how I play them on vizzed, (With a keyboard or controller) Standing in front of a cabinet, and just play. We 2010 kids are really missing something.

Games I played:
Frogger: This game is hard. I suck at arcade games I know. But really, this game is hard, it's still fun
Donkey kong, Donkey kong Jr. Donkey kong, I love you, Donkey kong jr, I hate you.
Pac-man The classic of classics, amazing, And I played this game the longest, with my dad.
1943: This is really better to play with a joystick than a d-pad.. Really a lot better.
Rally-x: I don't like this game too much, I dunno, just don't really like it.
Congo Bongo: It's sega's donkey kong, though less addicting and fun. It's pretty good I guess.
Arkanoid: Now I know why people love the arcade version so much. This is the greatest to play with a joystick, It really is. 
I'm probably forgetting one.


PS : They had so many others, I need to go to that store again . And I have to admit, I wanted to summon PS... I'm really pathetic.

Nice, I've seen a Bubble Bobble on an arcade cabinet once, but I didn't play on it, I hope I can do that one day.

Nice! Yeah, Donkey Kong Jr. is a tough one, it's not very intuitive I find. Arkanoid is great, isn't it!

What you really have to try is a classic pinball game, I mean one with an actual, physical ball, there is nothing electronic that compares.

juuldude : Bubble bobble, eh? I love that game on the SMS, I don't know if they had it.
Light Knight : I would agree. Also, I have no idea where there is an actual pin-ball machine, I would love to try one out.
tornadocam : I wish I would have been alive back then. I was surprised that the dutch actually still had interest in retro games since, us dutch are not retro game freaks, except me of course.

Here's one. There are tonnes of different types. That's where the video game pinballs come from, there were around before video games... and in a way, they were sort of the precursor to arcade consoles.
