Today, September 30th, is the eighteenth birthday of the American N64. I grew up with this system, it is very dear to my heart, and I wish to inform everyone of this event. Share some of your favorite games and memories of the N64 in the comments, and everyone sing the happy birthday song to wish such an underrated console a happy eighteenth. Bust out your old systems, enjoy some Goldeneye, Super Mario 64, or Ocarina of Time, and remember... LONG LIVE THE N64!

I remember this thing so fondly. I had a lot of good games. Now, I can't even find one anywhere nearby for a reasonable price. I just don't trust people to buy them off of the internet.

I know that when I get another N64 ( whenever that may be ) , I will be playing FX-Zero, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario 64, and Stars Wars Episode 1: Pod Racer.

LONG LIVE THE NINTENDO 64!!!

Though I don't have the biggest memories of the N64 since I was extremely young, I can still remember Goldeneye 007, blowing up tank with mines and playing some DOOM 64 too.

Drinks to the N64! I owned one for several years before giving it to my cousin. It was completely awesome. I could play Star Fox, SM64, MK64, Whatever i wanted. Everything about it was just awesome. So again, hoorah to the N64 for such a profound legacy that continues to this day!

First of all, I like the description for this thread. It gave me a laugh.

Nintendo 64 deserves the fame and publicity that it gets. Nintendo 64 has been a big part of my younger years and it is still a big part of my life. Not to mention that I still have my Nintendo 64 to this very day. Lots of good games have come from this console and we are proud to say that lots of games today wouldn't have been here or as famous today if it wasn't for the Nintendo 64.

Cheer to the Nintendo 64!

So, I was going through my Facebook feed, and I noticed an article that said the Internet turned 18 recently. Just so happens that it is a few a days after the Nintendo 64 was released in America. So, does that mean we have the Nintendo 64 to thank for the internet?

thing1 : It means that the N64 and the Internet are cousins. N64 is the wise older cousin that stays home with the husband and kids and doesn't get out much anymore but still knows how to have a good time. The Internet is the slightly younger cousin that never settled down, stays out all night and knows things that no respectable lady should ever know.

Happy (belated) birthday you two!
