I finally got around to doing this. Now that I have more to say, here are stories about me and my other real life friends. If you liked the "My Story" thread I created last month, I think you'll like this one.  Gonna start with a sad story. The font messed up after a few paragraphs because I'm pasting this entire post from Microsoft Word. Here's a tip: click the button "Paste as plain text" when you're pasting something. If you do that, you won't have to fix the spacing.

I met my friend Tre when we were in Kindergarten at the same school. We used to live somewhat close to each other. We hanged out at my house a lot. My mom still has a recording of us doing that. If I see it, I'll cry inside. I'm going to explain why later. Eventually, we moved to different houses. He moved to about a 2-hour drive from my house! Since then, we've gotten to hang out every 3 months if we're extremely lucky. It's always at my house because I want him to be able to stay away from his brothers while he hangs out with me. We had an overnighter at my house on my birthday a few years ago. A couple years ago, I tried to convince him to register on Vizzed because he was at my house with his laptop, but he didn't want to. If he did, I probably still wouldn't be able to talk to him much. The last time we hanged out was last August or September. Since then, we've probably talked to each other like 8 times. Apparently, he's almost always too busy to talk to me. Well, the last time I checked, he has 500+ friends on Facebook. That isn't an exaggeration. So, I think I know why he's so darn busy all the time. I think he's too busy talking to his other friends: his girl friends (I think one of them is his girlfriend), and guy friends from his school to talk to me, a guy that never gets to hang out with him and never gets to talk to him. )=< Starting a few months ago, I stopped trying to and caring so much about being able to talk to and hang out with him. I gave up and let him only talk to his 500+ other friends. It truly is better for me. I haven't officially moved on yet, but if that crap keeps up and I don't get to have a serious, calm discussion with him and/or his mom about it within the next few months, I will. (I sent his mom a friend request on Facebook a few days ago and I’m still waiting for her to accept it)

When I was in 1st grade, I met my friend Isaac. We were both in a few classes. A few years later, his family invited me to join their Youth Group at their house. I went there, and I found out that his house was a few streets away from mine. I joined the Youth Group and attended it as much as possible. One day, it stopped, and we went to a Youth Group at Isaac’s church. We attended that for a few weeks and then we quit that one. Eventually, I think it was 2 or 3 years later, Isaac’s family invited me to join another Youth Group at the same church that’s just for middle schoolers and high schoolers. I joined it, and I went to it almost every week. I enjoyed it more than the other Youth Groups I joined, until several months later. By that time, I was having only a little bit of fun at it and I was getting annoyed that I couldn’t talk to Isaac without interrupting someone else. Even if I did that, I got interrupted by someone else. So I told my mom I didn’t want to go to it anymore but I ended up going anyway. It got better for me a long time after that. Now I can finally talk to Isaac a little more there but I can barely have fun there. I was finally able to stop going there a couple months ago. I came back a few weeks ago, and then I once again stopped going. I’m probably not going back until my friend Audrey can join it (which she wants to do so badly) or if my friend Tre can go and wants to go. I doubt that’s going to happen. Most of the time I’ve been at that Youth Group, I’ve been an Atheist. I still liked hearing sermons, and I have a lot of the time I’ve been an Atheist. If Isaac is in one of my classes and his assigned seat is very close to mine, we can start talking a lot again like we did in Spanish I in 8th grade. We just won’t be able to talk a lot at Youth Group.

I met my friend Derek at an occupational therapy place (because we both had Autism, and of course we still do). I still remember how I was when he started talking to me (which he did right away). I didn’t know him at all and I thought it was weird that I was the one he was talking to the most. When I began to like him, we started having so much fun. I still remember us trying to be on the same team in an indoor soccer game. I also still remember a much younger kid there being annoying and mean to Derek (which is hard to forget because Derek continues to bring it up once in a while ). That kid was my friend before Derek came along (I don’t have a story about him). One day when we knew each other well, he attempted to get me to tell him my phone number, and I did the same with him. We wrote our phone numbers down, and called each other frequently. One of our first phone conversations was about 2 hours! Soon after we talked to each other on the phone several times, we tried to plan our first overnighter. We put our parents on the phone and had an overnighter at his house. It was very exciting for both of us, because ever since we became friends, I’ve been his best friend and he has been one of my best friends! 3 of my 6 real life friends consider me their best friend (Tre , Derek duh, and Joe)! That makes me very happy and proud of myself for being so awesome! ^^ That overnighter was a lot of fun and we got to know more of our interests during it. We had an overnighter at my house sometime later, and that was about just as fun. I’ll tell you more in my story about Joe. You’ll see why.


In 4th grade, people kept being mean to me in the school’s cafeteria, doing stuff such as throwing peas at me and Joe was one of them. I told my parents about it, and they asked the cafeteria staff if I could sit at Isaac’s lunch table (we all got assigned to tables no matter what because it was elementary school ). They said I could, so I did. I sat next to Isaac, who sat next to Joe. Back then, I didn’t know Joe at all, so it was a little awkward when Joe was talking to Isaac and I. Most of the time, he was acting out Looney Tunes episodes and I loved watching Looney Tunes back then, so he was entertaining me a lot. I finally got to know him well in 7th grade because he was in my Math class and we were always partners. I was amazed by how fast he could finish his work, and I frequently heard the teacher telling him nicely to try not to be sloppy with his handwriting. We became friends in that class, and at the start of 8th grade, we sat at the same table again in the cafeteria. That time, it was just the 2 of us, and sometimes someone we didn’t know, at first. Then 2 people moved to our table and talked to us so much. I liked having them at our table for the first few months, but after that I was getting really annoyed because they and their friends (except Joe) kept causing trouble at the table. One time, chocolate milk was spilled on me because one of the guys was trying to fool around with Joe! It looked like I peed a lot in my pants. Another time, my whole tray fell onto the floor and the food got all over my school supplies, and, OF COURSE, my clothes. One of the nicer guys at the table got napkins and helped me clean the mess up. He was the only one that did, but I’m not mad at Joe for not helping. I think he just didn’t want it to get on his clothes. If I didn’t explain calmly what happened to a cafeteria staff member, I might have gotten punished for something that was partially my fault but it was because the milk carton knocked over my tray so fast. Haha the funniest time at my lunch table was one of the times some girls went over there, including Audrey (she went over there a few of those times, so I felt so sorry for her and talked to her about it in English class). I don’t know why, but I was happy that our table was finally getting some more people that aren’t troublemakers. Some of the guys were acting strange, er, more strange than usual, and it was very entertaining for me to watch. I was nervous as heck because there were girls there and one of them was my best friend, but I wasn’t acting weird. I was just talking to Joe and saying hi to Audrey. Joe was acting like this, “Yeah, there are girls at our table, whatEVER.” He didn’t seem to mind that though, because they weren’t annoying.

Several months ago, I found out that Joe’s house is a few streets away from mine. We got each other’s addresses sometime later. We started hanging out at his house and mine. On my birthday, he and Derek came over to my house to join my party. It was huge! The dining room was decorated, several relatives of mine came, I got a lot of presents, and it lasted a few hours! I made a rushed thread about it when they were here with the best title ever. Some of you that I’ll summon to this thread might remember it. Joe, Derek, and I stayed up until around 3 AM, and Joe and Derek got to know each other that night! I let them know right away that I was OK with them talking to each other a lot, so they did, and I said a lot in our conversation. Of course Joe was originally going to attend the party and then leave, but he ended up spending each day of the weekend with Derek and I! On my birthday, we got to see if my glow-in-the-dark green and blue basketball really does glow in the dark, and it does! The day after my birthday, we had an all-out water gun battle, which was really fun for all of us despite us getting completely soaked. The next month, Joe and Derek had an overnighter at my house again, but that time it wasn’t so eventful. We still had a lot of fun though.

And I thought I wouldn’t have much to tell... oh my gosh... if you read this whole post, congrats! You get a cookie! Oh wait, sorry, this is the internet, not real life, and I don’t know your address, so I can’t give you a cookie. Aw. And I’m not putting a picture of a cookie in the post because anyone can see it. I only want the people that read this whole post to see it so maybe I’ll send it to you in a private message. Lol! I put a lot of emoticons in this post, deal with it. Oh, and this is my biggest post ever!

I read your entire post, and I liked it even more than "My Story".

And it was neat to read about your real life friends. I hope you get back in contact with Tre, and I wish you the best with your other friendships!

TL;DR Just kidding! Well this was kind of, unexpected to say the least. It's touching that would share how you met 4 of your friends. It may be best to wait a while before contacting Tre, it's understandable that you 2 were best friends but you don't want to come on as clingy and obsessive to him, that will just retract him away even more, and you obviously don't want that. And friend requesting his mom won't get you anywhere, in fact it may even put you back a step or 2. I have nothing to say about your Isaac situation, but congratulations now that you can finally talk to him. (and yay fellow atheist ). Glad nothing ever went wrong with Derek, and you guys had fun with the overnighter! it's cool that you and Joe eventually became friends (even if he was messing with you before that, haha. And lol at your screw ups with the milk and food. And it was nice of you to introduce Joe and Derek to each other and I'm glad you enjoyed their company a lot! Thanks for the cookie and summon, good luck for your first time in 9th grade (and wish me luck for my 2nd time. )!!!

Cradily is love : I don't come on as clingy and obsessive to him, I just try once in a while to talk to him and when I do, I talk about happy things and/or ask if he can check his schedule so we can plan a time to hang out. I haven't told him how I feel about our friendship yet, because I'll have to say quite a bit, he doesn't answer most of the time like I said, and he doesn't check his voicemail and I really don't want to have to repeat myself. I forgot until I read your post that I was supposed to send his mom a friend request a long time ago, and I didn't do it just so I could talk to her about how busy Tre is, I also did it so it would be easier to plan a time for us to hang out. Good luck with your 2nd time in 9th grade.

It was so nice you shared that about your friends! So these guys are your closest friends? I hope that Tre will realize that he shouldn't leave his old friends alone for new friends, both are important. And interesting that you have the most memories of Youth Group when you think of Isaac What a coincidence that Derek and you have both autism, then you can relate to some things! And all those losers throwing food at you, didn't they get punished or didn't you get mad? Anyways, it has brought you a new friend, so I'd say that you're lucky to have meet Joe that way Thanks for the story man, you always know a lot to write about and I hope you will write more stories if you're in the mood for it!

Lol, you had to mention Audrey right? XD It's interesting that your autism forms are a bit different. And don't worry, I have problems with girls sometimes too as I'm shy as well (but like you said, not against adults, girls I'm familiar with and my sister as well ) 

Heck yeah, it's good that happened. And if you remember how you met Joe from it then it's not bad right?

Oh well, that's no problem. We all kids have to slow down when school starts. But making a little update now and then isn't too bad, you are doing a lot more trouble to let people know about you than me sometimes

Tre called me today!!! We talked for like an hour and I found out that he told his mom to call mine but she didn't listen. Today, if he remembers, he'll try again to get his mom to call mine and finally plan an overnighter. ^^ I also found out that he doesn't go on Facebook much anymore. I told him that I don't either. Also, Derek and I will spend the whole weekend, part of Friday, and part of Monday together if I don't cancel and/or shorten it so that Tre and I can hang out! I'll be going out of town to his house for the first time since a little while after Christmas.

juuldude : I forgave him right after I found out he won't be on Facebook much anymore. I didn't think he was ever going to call me because I always call him, so I was very surprised when I saw that it was him calling me. I still said nothing about him not talking to me much. I was so close to not answering the call because I slid the answer call button a wrong way and a box of messages to send him came up. Also, he hung up on me because he unintentionally dropped his phone while doing the laundry for his parents. He's going to come to my city before school starts for either of us, so we'll try to be able to hang out then.

It's a good thing you didn't say anything about you and him not talking a lot, you should get that of your mind when you are going to do something together. And it's always a funny to hear when people accidentally hang up Cool, I think you will have a lot of fun together!
