I know many buy new games when the summer sale comes around, but do you wait to buy a game you want? Do you wait for a sale to come around, or do you just buy the game... ? How long do you wait, if you wait for a game to go on sale? Do you wait for the summer sale, winter sale, or just any sale?

I personally AM waiting on a sale to come around, I missed the summer sale () and I now have to wait. But no problem, I have waited a couple of months so far, I can wait some more... I love how steam has so many sales, summer, winter, daily, week-long, weekend, midweek-madness, and some I don't know about... I personally am waiting for the nearest sale to have the two games I want, Portal One and Two, just in case anyone is curious. I have some wallet funds waiting to get spent as soon as the price drops... But enough about me, how about you guys?

I like to wait for a sale mostly cause i'm a very cheap person and mostly because have the games I want are like $30+ so I have good reasons

For me it just depends on how much the game is. $10, and I will probably buy it if I really want it enough, $15 is a maybe depending on the anticipation, and $20 and up I will most likely wait for at least a 20% off sale.

I rarely buy games on Steam if they're not on sale. It's always best to wait and most often the games on my wishlist are put on sale on special occasions. I went crazy during the summer sales and spent around 40€ buying games. I don't regret it, but most often I end up playing old games even if I have a bunch of new ones in my library.

I exclusively buy games when they're on sale. If it's not on sale, I won't buy it. I already have plenty of games in my library to keep me busy until a game's price goes down a bit.
