Around the time I truly became a fixture on the server, I tried going into Gen. Lag killed me. Or rather, the lag let the Zombies kill me.

I recovered, I got diamonds, I had more successful runs. But recently, lag killed me again.

That got me thinking "Hey, this portal should be made safer." So I petition the board to either get the portal moved, or else build a safehouse around it.

I think you've brought up a good point, I've noticed more than one lag death in Genrody recently, and it's unfair that you could die the second your computer loads the world.

It wouldn't be much trouble to build at all, really.

I made a temporary safe-house for the time being. If it looks like none of the other OPs have a problem, we can make it better.

EideticMemory : I would also agree with this as well. Because I've built a bedrock base in The Nether to avoid all the Movs in the Nether around the portal. So why not we do the same for Geneody portal.

EideticMemory : I would like to see a safe house built. But I feel like so it isn't destroyed, we need make a claim around it. Now before you go off saying "We cant make claims in Gen, why should OP's be so special" well I was hoping to ask David if we could just for the sake of the safe house. I do not wish hard work to protect users to be destroyed. I also liked the other thought about moving it possibly. To be honest, I can bet most of the resources around it currently are mostly gone. Adding to that, we need a more variety of biomes. But that's just my opinion.

Pokefreak219 : I wouldn't argue about having a claim around it. I'm not sure whether claims are even enabled for that world. If they are, go for it =P We'd just need all server members to have the accesstrust to open the doors.

mrfe : Didn't you say you had a command that could do that? If so, Poke might need it.

EideticMemory :  Actually it is possible, ive removed claims from there several times from regular users. I also know the command, which is /containertrust All

Pokefreak219 : Actually, it'd be /accesstrust if you just want to do buttons/levers. Much simpler, imo. The exact command would be as follows: /accesstrust all

I actually do like the sound of this. Especially since Genrody is like Ultra x5 hardcore. I myself had the same thing happen to me, and i run on 175-225 fps. But sometimes it's just lag between going through worlds and even with the best cpu out there, you just can't avoid it. So I agree with you on this, A small bedrock hallway with 2 iron doors, and stone pressure plates opening the doors, then on the outside buttons or levers that way mobs won't walk in. 

How about obsidian walls close to the bedrock save house? I can build it tomorrow, if you want to, what you think? This way it'd be more save I think? Creepers don't grief right? (That makes me sad.... lol) But still it could be dangerous, we could make like, a simple creative spawn in Genrody The only problem is a water bug.... Can't place water on surface.. But what do you guys think of a protective spawn? Or just obsidian walls with iron doors?

While I'm editing, I got a question.. Me and Mega Mewtwo X (Can someone summon him? I can't copy paste links now..) wants to make a big underwater city... Like at least 50x50 blocks... Or 75x75, but we need permission... So yeah, can we please get permission to do this? We are probably gonna spawn in water ourselfs, but that would be a PAIN to do.....

Two more thing, what is the maximum plots that we are allowed to make? And maximum plots to fuse? My plots are 3 plots wide, 2 of them mine, and one of them that's Mew's. (TheMewGuy)

TheJmsGamer : I claimed the area directly around the bedrock so that nobody would mess with spawn.

If you're building beyond that, I don't have a problem with it.
