Am I the only one having this issue? Every other game works fine, but not this one. It seemed to work when I tried it out about a year ago.

It's working for me now, however, the very bottom of the screen glitches out unless I make Shantae jump high enough. Otherwise, I can't even see the character or the enemies most of the time. The music also has noticeable lag, and the FPS (frames per second) seems to have decreased, too.

I can attest that Shantae does not run well on this site (for myself at least). I have the actual game, and it runs at about twice the speed that it does on here.

The game is notorious for being difficult to emulate (for some reason or other, I'm not sure).

You'll see a link in the top left of the play window for something about recording, clicking that link doesn't actually start any recording until you choose to start it - the buttons at the bottom of play window will differ from standard emulator.

This link uses a different emulator, Mednafen, which works fine.
