So I created a Facebook group with my elementary school's name & Alumni with my classmates from both my year and the year before me since I knew plenty of people from both years.

And now I thought it would be nice to try to plan an Alumni event/get together since I want to see them again and we're all college-aged now. The group has 14 confirmed members of 23 so far.

I was thinking of two scenarios so far:

a) Meet up by the school and hang out in the area (really nice area; has a waterfront, pier and view of the city) & I will bring food and maybe some music & ask people to help with that too. Weather permitting.
b) Meet up by the school and go to the city and do something. Our school is in New York City and most of us live within an hour from it.

Tied in with both scenarios, I plan on calling the school to ask if we can come in and visit and to make arrangements if we can in May.

I plan on doing this at the beginning of June or sometime in June, once everyone's college semesters have ended and everyone's home.

I posted this in the Facebook group, so most people know about this too.

What did/do YOU and your classmates usually do for reunions, elementary or not?
Any ideas?
Revisions to these plans are also appreciated!

I had a reunion at my elementary school last year. I went with my best friend from elementary school and we've seen a few people from our class, but it were mostly just smoking adults and old people who were taking pictures together. Still, it was nice to see my old school after quite a time.

And I would suggest you have the reunion at your school, because you can always plan to do other things together. That's my opinion, but it isn't a bad idea to go to the city.
