First I explain a little about
the materia's.
mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:
FI" lang="EN-US">

mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:

Magic Materia So the green materia's are
called Magic materia's, in older Final Fantasies they were called Black and
White magic, so if you familiar with them no need to read this. The green
materia's includes elemental spells like fire, ice, lighting, earth etc.. Some
let's call them status effect materia's example Seal materia, you can inflict
sleep and silence to your enemies. And also Cure (restores HP) and Life that
revives your fallen comrades. You can also combine most of these materia's with
the Support Materia's, I explain them next.
"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:FI" lang="EN-US">

mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:
FI" lang="EN-US">

Support Materia Blue
materia's are called Support Materia's, there are useless if you don't combine
them with green, yellow or red materia's.. So you could say they enchant your
other materia's. Example: Cloud has Buster sword and it has two slots that
looks something like this O=O when there is = between two materia slots that
means you can combine green/red with a blue materia, If you put Cure Materia in
the left (or right) slot and All materia (first support materia you get) then
you can cast cure to all your allies at the same time, there is also lot of
different Support Materia's.
mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:FI" lang="EN-US">

mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:
FI" lang="EN-US">

Command Materia Yellow
ones are Command materia's, and those gives you extra commands in the battle,
example if you equip Steal Materia you can steal items in battle.
mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:
FI" lang="EN-US">

mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:
FI" lang="EN-US">

Independent Materia: Some of
these purple materia's increase your stats or give's you auto-abilities,
example if you have Long Range Materia equipped you can attack from back row
and inflict the same amount of damage to enemy as you were in the front row and
you defence is higher against pphysical damage.

Summon Materia:
These red materia's are
called Summon Materia's, with these you can call mythical creatures from the
other world to aid you in the battle. These spells are very powerful and they
always attack to all of your enemies, they can be combined with the Support
Materia's.
mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:

SUPPORT MATERIA'S:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:FI" lang="EN-US">

All: So I guess you already
understood what All Materia does, now I will list all those Magic's that can be
combined with All: Restore, Heal, Revive, Fire, Ice, Lightning, Earth, Poison,
Gravity, Seal, Mystify, Transform, Time, Barrier, Destruct and Master Magic
Materia. When your All is level 1 you can use the combination only once in the
battle, and when it's level 2 you can use it twice and level 5 is the last.
mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:
FI" lang="EN-US">

Locations: First one can be found in the Sector 7 slums, in the tall
building where you can learn the basics about the game. There are two All's in
the Shinra Headquarters. First one is in that room where you have to collect
those three coupons, one of them contains All, the second one you get from Red
XIII. 3rd All can be found in the Cargo Ship when your sailing to the Costa Del
Sol, can't really miss it. 4th one can be found in the Mt. Nibel, in that room
where is lot of different pipes and Materia Keeper Boss, don't really remember
what was the right pipe, but try them all out. 5th All can be found in the
Great Glacier, it's in that area where you can mark your way with those
red/white sticks, I believe it was in the top right corner of that area, try
not to get lost.  And also in DISC 2 you can buy them from Fort Condor...
I'm not really sure if I listed all of them here, but the most of them at
least.
mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:
FI" lang="EN-US">

Elemental This materia is great it
allows you to enchants your weapons and armors, example Cloud has his Buster
Sword and there is O=O materia slots there, when they are linked like that you
can combine support materia's with them.. Like now if I put Fire materia and
Elemental Materia into that linked (O=O) weapon it becomes a fire weapon in
this case, when Cloud attacks with his Buster Sword it deals Fire-elemental
damage. BUT when you link this to your armor, example that fire again... When
the Elemental Materia has 1Star and you have a "fire armor" and enemy
uses fire spell on you, you will only take 50% of the normal damage, and when
the Elemental has  2 stars, all the damage will be nullified from that
certain element, in this case fire... And finally when you have 3 Stars you
will absorb the damage that comes to you and gain HP from it. Hope I explained
this so you did understand what I'm trying to say here.
"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:FI" lang="EN-US">

Locations: You will get the first one pretty fast, it's in the Shinra HQ,
in the library you will meet the Mayor of Midgar, he want's to play a little
game and you have to guess the password, before answering I recommend that you
will take the elevator back to the 1st floor and save the game, then go back
and check what is the right answer and LOAD the game if needed, because when
you get the answer right in the first try you will receive Elemental Materia.
The 2nd one can be found in the Mt. Nibel, find the Mako fountain that you saw
in the Cloud's Past, it's next to that fountain. 3rd and last can be found when
Tifa is your Party Leader, go back to Nibelheim and play Tifa's piano, you will
only get this if you messed with the piano when you were in the Cloud's Past.
mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:
FI" lang="EN-US">

mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:
FI" lang="EN-US">

Added Effect:
With this materia you can inflict
status effect's on enemy or get protection from them, so the idea is same as in
the elemental. This will work with these following materia's; Poison, Seal
(Sleep and Silence), Mystify (Confuse and Berserk), Transform (Mini and Toad),
Time (Slow and Stop), Destruct (Death), Contain (Petrify, Confuse, Paralyze and
Berserk), Choco/Mog (Stop), Odin (Death), Hades (Sleep, Poison, Confusion,
Silence, Toad and Mini).

This does not mean that every time you attack the enemy it will be inflicted,
there is about 20-25% chance that it will work, but when you have this in your
armor it will always protect you so don't worry.

Location: I have only found one of these and I don't think there is anymore so
if you want more, you have to master this one first so it will duplicate it
self.. Good thing is that you can find this pretty quickly, it's located inside
the cave of the Gi under the Cosmo Canyon.

HP Absorb:
So you can combine this with every
materia that does damage, let's say you combine it with Fire materia. Now when
you cast Fire to the enemy you will receive small amount of HP to your self by
doing so. Don't think I have to explain it more.

Locations: In Wutai there is that house full of cats, it's in the attic and the
second one can be found in the Northern Cave.

MP Absorb:
Look the HP Absorb section.

Location: Inside the chest in Wutai's item shop.

Added Cut:
You can combine this to any Magic,
Summon or Command Materia. When you do so, let's say you combined it with Fire
(again....) so now you have fire and added cut linked to each other, now in the
battle when you cast fire you will also attack automatically. So this is
nothing fancy, but there are few nice ways to use this.
"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:FI" lang="EN-US">

Location: I don't know how to explain this very well, but it can be found
in the Great Glacier. If I remember correctly, when you look the map you will
see that giant pine tree in the right.. There is that path going to the
northishwest, when you walking in there look closely in the ground because the
ground is white and the materia blue so it might be little hard to spot it in
the snow... But it should be around there somewhere.. .If you know where the
Alexander is then your pretty close to Added Cut. Sorry for the bad
explanation.

Counter: My sweet revenge, this would
be very useful but it's not because you get it when your in DISC 3 in the
Northern Cave and you really don't need it much anymore..... Anyway when you
combine this with let's say Steal.. So now you have a Counter=Steal
combination. When enemy attacks you there is a chance that you will counter it
with Steal command. The more starts you have on it the better chance you will
have to counter those incoming attacks.

Final Attack: This materia
is one of my favorites, the best way to use it, is to combine it with Phoenix
Summon. Let me explain why, because when you have Phoenix=Final Attack combined
and when you die, you will cast Phoenix with your last breath and you will be
reborn, pretty cool. So when you link Final attack with a red, green or yellow materia
you will do that spell before you die.

powerful this Materia will be and also the MP cost will raise.. So when you
combine this Turbo to another materia, that materia will become more powerful
but it will cost more MP than normally to cast it.

Summon Materia:
These red materia's are
called Summon Materia's, with these you can call mythical creatures from the

Sorry for the bad
explanation.

combination. When enemy attacks you there is a chance that you will counter it

you will do that spell before you die.

Thanks, this looks much better in my Microsoft word than it looks here, I spent hours of making this and got 0.4 CP and about 20 Viz... Well I had fun making it so guess that's enough.

EDIT: Not going to edit my thread anymore because Vizzed editor is so bad,
but seems like I forgot to put Double Cut's location, you can find it in the Gelnika, it's that crashed plane under the sea, once you get the submarine find the plane. When you are inside there is a door in the right, go there and you will come to a small room, you will find double cut in there.
