*My Walkthrough Part 2*

*Most Useful Items To Get From Fiends*

Dark matter: It is rare to find but, is mostly dropped by bosses. Once you have done the monster arena section it will be easier to get. Fight the species conquest and the arena conquest fiends for dark matter to drop more often. I found this out when I was doing a lot of collecting and such on the game. It isn’t so rare in those places and will drop more often. Maybe not every time but it will drop. Use this item to create *Ribbon* you will be immune to all, and any status problems except for dark.  Collect 99 to make one at a time it is really useful to have and, a really big help as well.

Wings To Discovery:  This creates *Hp break limit* so you really need this item. It is dropped by shinryu in the monster arena and he will drop like 2 at a time after each battle. Or, you can get it from the chocobo race that holds in remime temple. He’s in the original section when you want to find him.

Chocobo Wing: You will have to bribe for this, to get the item. Mecha is the fiend you are looking for he is in omega ruins. Bribe him 350,000gil and he will drop about 80. He comes in two so bribe him however you wish, if you bribe 2 of them then you will get 99. Customize this item to make *Auto-Haste* it is very important you get this item if you can.

Designer Wallet: It is dropped by catastrophe that is in the monster area hes in the original section when you go to look for him. To customize this item it makes gillionare, getting you more gil after each battle.

Healing Spring: You can also find this in the monster arena as well. Kottos drops them after each battle dropping about 40 or more. To customize this it makes *Auto-Regen*

Purifying Salt: It can be dropped by a fallen monk in zanakand ruins, it is a rare drop and this creates *No Encounter* the easy way to get that is to fight a lot of fiend’s in omega ruins. They can drop an armor with no encounter.

Pendulum: This is indeed a rare item it is dropped by neslug and this customizes *Master Thief* which will be, only to steal rare items

Btw dark matter can also be customize to make break damage limit.

*Blizball*

I suggest you go into training to know and understand more on how to play blizball. Use directional buttons to move tidus around in the sphere pool. Make sure you understand as well of other movements to use, like shoot, defend, attack and more this is where you will get all of wakkas things, so please play this sidequest. It is really fun to play blizball. ^^

*Hidden Aeons*

Anima: Can be found in baaj temple but, you will need the airship to get there to unlock anima. It is not so easy to get her you will have to get, every destruction sphere treasure chests. From the previous temples, that you have been too.  *Warning* make sure you do the one when you are about to get bahaumt that is in bevelle. If you have missed that one then you can’t get anima. Hopefully you have another saving slot saved, if you do then try again. Btw remember the first boss you encountered when you got transported to spira? You will have to fight him in order to get into the temple. But this time with help! ^^
So be prepared before facing him he is quite annoying to deal with so be very careful once facing him. Here are some tips, make sure you have stoneproof as his hits sometimes will petrify you and could kill you.

Yojimbo: He is found the cavern of the stolen faith. You will have to pay to get him, unfortunately I don’t remember how I did this. So I suggest you look up online for help on this one.

The Magus Sisters: They can be found at remiem temple but, the door is sealed. So you will need 2 special items to make the seal disappear. Which are:
Flower Scepter - You need to defeat belgemines aeons.
Blossom Crown – You get this from the monster area, the man will give it to you once you have captured all of the fiends from mt gagazet and also from mt gagazet mountain cave.

Heres a tip you must get anima first followed by yojimbo. If you try to get the magus sisters before these two then the seal will not break. It will not break even if you have the items. So get those two first get the magus sisters.

*Storyline Bosses*

Sinspawn ammes: This is the first boss in the game and fairly easy to beat, there will be some sinscale with it. Use aurons OD (overdrive) to kill all of the sinscales, and to damage sinspawn ammes. Keep attacking until you kill it when you have go and save the game and follow auron.

Geosagaeno: He appears twice in the game in the beginning and later on in the game. Just attack him until you trigger the next cutscene. Btw before you face him you will face some other fiend’s first.

Kimarhri: Hes a jerk at the beginning so attack him at all means. If you have your OD full use it, then wakka will stop the fight.

Sin : You will be on your way to kilika on a boat and he will attack you. Sin’s tail will be hooked to your boat. He will send some sinscales to attack you make sure that, you attack the tail while fighting the sinscales at the same time. Use either wakka or lulu to attack the tail.

Sinspawn Echuilles: Make sure you have a lot of items stocked up because after the battle with sin, this guy appears. And not giving you any time to prepare, you will be fighting him underwater. Use cheer to raise defence and strength keep using cheer, until you are happy with the outcome of it. Then start to attack, if wakka has dark attack use it to blind him so you can get less hit. The battle shouldn't’t take long.

Sinspawn Geneaux:  You will face him near the kilika temple, so save before going into battle. He has tentacles so watch out, when you enter into battle the main body is covered up in a shell. Attack the tentacles first then the main body. The tentacles may give you poison so make sure you have antidote in stock, keep attacking the tentacles until you have killed them all. Then go for the main body then the shell will open when you attack it a lot, attack however you wish and he should die after sometime.

Oblitzerator: This will be during the blizballs tournament yuna gets kidnapped by the al bhed. This will be when you go in search of auron, during the break time. You will be fighting on an al bhed ship it will only be tidus, lulu and kimarhi for this battle.  This boss is fairly easy to beat and can be sometimes annoying. To make the battle easier for you use the crane, it won’t work for the first time so use lulu’s black magic to cast thunder to get it running. Keep jolting the crane with thunder until it fully responds while lulu does that, get kimarhi and tidus to attack. The boss will use blizballs and more to attack you so watch out. When you are ready get tidus to use the crane and most of the Oblizerators body should come off. Keep attacking until hes defeated, then yuna should be set free.

Chocobo Eater: Now this is a really annoying boss, make sure your party is well trained for this battle. This battle happens near the al bhed shop a woman will scream from outside, save in the shop before going into battle. You can have how your party how you like it, oh also make sure all of their OD is full and ready to fire to make some damage.  If you didn’t not train your party enough all I can say is oh well, you will see what will happen to your party.

Sinspawn Gui: I like this battle as well this will happen at mushroom rock. This is also where the tragic amount of loss, for people come in as well…..It was captured to lure sin but, it made a break for it and decided to attack your party. He has a head, two arms, main body and a somewhat weird feet.
Attack the arms first if you go for the main body, the arms will cover it. btw the arms has some kind of shell so it uses that to defend the main body. If you start to see the head shaking get wakka or lulu to attack it. If you don’t the outcome of it will not be pretty at all, once you have taken out his two arms then you can do an all-out attack on the body. But, it will only be for a limited of time before a new pair of his arms regenerate. Keep attacking the head until he can’t use it anymore your proof will be his head will change colour from red to grey. Once it is grey he won’t be able to attack with it, attack the arms like before, so you can damage the main body. Once you have defeated him a cutscene will appear so the battle is not over……
Sin appears! So you will have to wait this part of the battle is really sad to see lots of people die….
When sin attacks people will be killed the round 2 of the battle will start. I love the round 2 battle even though Seymour is a bad guy you will get to use him! For this battle you have yuna, auron and Seymour. Seymour is pretty strong so use his black magic and such to help you to win the battle.

The Extractor: And again…..Yuna gets kidnapped by the al bheds you will have only wakka and tidus for this battle make sure you have hi-potion stocked up and phoenix down  too. Make sure your OD is full as well if tidus has learned haste at this time I suggest, that you use it. And also get tidus to use cheer to raise defense and strength, then attack the battle shouldn't’t take long.
And guess who appears after the boss? That’s right rikku finally joins the team! ^^

Spherimorph: Now you have rikku in the party, you can take a good time to steal some useful items from bosses. If you use back magic be careful as he will absorb what you hit him with. When you attack him with black magic he will use a move called *Elemental shift* and will use the black magic that, you previously hit him with. Like for instance if you use thunder to hit, don’t use it again and choose another like thundera and after casting with that spell choose another like blizzard or blizzera. You still can get to others to attack for damage.

Machina Crawler:  This battle happens when you are on your way to macalania temple. But, watch out he will have an anti-magic field or more like place it on you. It means that you cannot summon or use black magic. When you go into battle you will see something in the air that will be it, get wakka out to attack and kill it. Then you can use magic and summon but, it will be for a limited time. Do the damage that you need on the boss before another one comes along. If that happens get wakka to attack it again.

Seymour And Anima: Well some players can die during this battle, so make sure your whole party is well prepared and strong as well. This battle holds in the chamber of the faith, where yuna gets a new aeon. First you will face Seymour and his two gudo guardians. They will caste protect on themselves whereas Seymour will cast shell on himself. If you want to attack go ahead but, if you have dispel use it on Seymour and the gudos. Attack the gudos first or they will keep healing Seymour. Oh, and also don’t forget to steal from them before you kill them watch out for his attacks. The main one he uses is *Multi* he uses that move and everyone will get damaged. Then after sometime he will call out anima for help. Get yuna out as tidus will call for her to summon the new aeon. When you use the new aeon use her second attack to deal damage, then use her OD if it is full. Once you have defeated anima Seymour will call her back and then he will kill your new aeon. Seymour will be all alone finish him off to kill him.

Wendigo: This guy appears after you make a run for it, from the macalania temple. The gudo are fast so they will chase after you. This battle take place near the al bhed shop, then wendigo will show. When you get into battle the two gudos will help him and put him on berserk. Which won’t be good at all get yuna to cast esuna, If hes on berserk you are most likely to die. Get auron to use power break to weaken his physical attacks, and for wakka to use dark attack for him to be blind. So that your party has advantages, keep attacking and use OD as well to finish off the battle.

Evrae: Many cutscenes happen before this battle happens. You don’t have yuna as she was kidnapped and is being force to marry Seymour. This is where you come in and crash the wedding. But that can only happen once evrae is beaten. Evrae is quite an annoying boss but, if you are like me who likes their party really strong, and have been training for bosses then you will be fine. Evrae can catch you off guard and kill you when you least expect it. I am sure many people got to this stage and died. Don’t worry to make things lighter on the subject I died too many times. But, that was many years ago, when I struggled to defeat him strategy wise. Everyone you need and I mean train hard for this boss. Evrae is pretty annoying to beat, you will be on your way to bevelle to get yuna back and to crash the wedding as well! I’m sorry but, I have to say this I really love yunas wedding dress how about you? She looks so pretty in it, ok back to the subject.
Choose who you want in your party to battle, I say use hasteaga get tidus to use that. Then get auron to use power break to cut of his strength. Have your OD ready as well his attacks are photon spray, normal attack and swooping scythe. Start to attack evrae, the get either tidus or rikku to get cid  to move the airship. Or if you want you don’t have to do that unless you feel like it. You can also use dark attack to blind him it might not work the first time try at least 3 times to check. When you do back up the airship only wakka and lulu can hit from that distance, I’m sure rikku can with her mix but, I have forgotten. Watch out though evrae will use haste on himself then later on, use swooping scythe on you. Keep attacking and stealing until evrae is defeated.

Issaru: Sad to say you will face him after you have gotten another new aeon. This battle takes place in via purifico, after the wedding.  You will be playing as yuna I suggest before carrying on with the storyline of the game, that you collect all of the treasures in via purifico. Because you won’t be able to come back again, you will also get to meet up with kimarhi, lulu and auron. Once you have done everything that you need to do go on with the storyline. And you will face issaru, use your aeons to defeat him if yours is really strong then you will be fine. End the battle and issaru will let you go.

Evrae Altana: Remember you first beat this fiend before the wedding? Well he comes back to life this takes place underwater as well. In your party you will have tidus, rikku and wakka for this battle. Well…. Hes fairly easy to beat, he will come back to life as a zombie. Use 2 phoenix down on him and he should die. When enemies are zombies the best way to kill them, is to use healing potions such as cure, cura, curaga, phoenix down.

Seymour Natus: I say you should only use your party for this battle. If you want you can summon aeons you can but, this is the battle when Seymour will banish any aeons that attack him. And the line for this is *Death awaits you!* he has something next to him or with him called mortibody. When you attack this thing it will absorb some of Seymour life and also it will cure Seymour.  So kill this thing, oh…. It can’t die once you take out its hp, it will take some from Seymour. Make sure lulus OD is full as you will need it, attack Seymour and then mortibody so this from time to time. Seymour will sometime later cast protect on himself, and he will use multi on your party an all attack. Heal them when you can and get yuna to dispel what Seymour did. The battle shouldn't’t really take that long, that is if your party is really strong.

Defender X: This boss you encounter, when you are on your way to mt gagazet. Seymour will send some of his people to try and kidnap yuna again. You refuse, then defender x will come to fight you.  His attacks are normal attack, blast punch and his special attack which I hate is haymaker. Make sure your defense is high for this battle as his attacks are extremely brutal. Use cheer if you can when you have lowered his health he will cast nulall on himself. So that no black magic attacks him, keep on attacking and healing until hes defeated.

Biran Ronso And Yenke Ronso: By now you should know a little history about kimarhi and involving these two. The full info will come out before you face these two, only kimarhi will fight this battle. Make sure you have a lot of items stocked up, and do you know lancet? You can use that on an enemy to copy a very good move. Use that on those two and you will learn stuff like flamethrower, bullet seed, aqua breath and more for his OD. Look online for more info on that but, I can say his ultimate one is called *Nova* you can lean it from omega weapon, that is in omega ruins. Use lancet until you can’t learn any more moves. Make sure you heal while you attack. They will keep using an annoying move called *bulldozer* so attack who you want and kill that target first before trying to kill the other ronso.

Seymour Flux And Mortiorchis: Hes a bit tougher to face and annoying too. You really have to plan and strategize for this battle. Some players or more have died against him. I did but, that was years ago. You will fight him at mount gagazet near the mt gagazet mountain cave of trails. You can try and put some status problems in him but, he can be tricky on that. Use haste and cheer to help you, for this battle you will have to sacrifice an aeon his attack lance of trophy will give you zombie status. If you have holy water use that to curse zombie and dark. I’ll explain a little what dark does that’s, if you don’t know. If someone in your party is infected by dark it will mean you can’t use your OD. He will also use reflect on himself. And his final move is annihilation. If you have trained your party well enough to withstand this disastrous attack, then keep the party attacking. If not the summon an aeon for sacrifice. Keep attacking him, remember if he does a spell on himself use dispel on him. Keep attacking and with the OD’s as well, until hes dead.

Sanctuary Keeper: This happens just you leave mt gagazet mountain cave. His normal attacks are the claw as I would like to call it. tail sweep, mana breath and photon wings. He does have some magic to protect himself. And to defend as well which are protect, reflect, regen, curaga and esuna. So you have some advantages and some disadvantages. The attacks you will have to look out for is tail sweep, photon wings and mana breath, the can do real damage to you. Photon wings give status problems so be well prepared that you have items in stock. Just attack him and use OD’s as well, the battle will soon come to an end once you keep attacking and more.

Spectral Keeper: You will battle him once you have done chamber of the faith in zanarkand. For this battle there will be glyphs placed onto the battle field. So be careful, you will have to move from time to time because the boss will set an explosion on the glyphs that, you will be standing on. If it starts to blink move that person by using *trigger move* to a safer glyph to stand on. This boss is another annoying one so cast protect and such for your party to stay alive. His attacks are berserk tail, glyph mine and normal attack. Be careful and look out for the berserk tail if he does that get yuna to cast esuna or if yuna gets hit with it use remedy. If you are having trouble with the boss I suggest that you use the aeons for help, for when needed. Just use what strategy that is best for you, to help you defeat the boss.

Lady Yunalesca: She is really challenging to beat there are 3 stages, in order to beat her. As you will see she has long hair that would be stage 1. Stage 2 is some of her hair coming to life and she will be standing on her hair. And as for stage 3…..
Stage 3 is her hardest stage so be prepared. She is immune to all status attacks. If you use any type of magic on her she will silence you, or place other attacks like blind, and normal attacks too that is for stage 1. For stage 2 she will use a move called hellbitter on you causing your party to have zombie status. I suggest that to make things easier for you get the item called *Candle Of Life* from fallen monk in zanarkand. it makes zombieproof so attack her, and if you manage to pass stage 2 well….
Stage 3 will scare the day’s lights out of you stage 3 is the last battle. Many status problems will happen to you and *Beware!* as soon as stage 3 comes on you may die, mega-death will be cast on you. You can only be lucky is she misses one person with that. I suggest you summon an aeon before going onto stage 3, or you will most likely to die. That is where many players die I don’t know if this will work I think it does it should. But, I have an idea have 2 people undead (zombie) before going to stage 3 and the one who will be alive and not as a zombie will die. While the rest as a zombie should be alive. While as a zombie there is a move you should watch out for, which is called mind blast.it will give you status problems and you won’t be able to use your OD. So be careful when facing this boss, and be well prepared. I will show you a picture of what stage 3 looks like, be warned it may scar you and scare the days lights out of you.

Sin Left And Right Arm: I suggest you complete your sphere grid or at least most of it before fighting sin. And also I suggest that you get the celestial weapons as well, if you can. you can try without it if you wish it is up to you though. Sin has a lot of life it depends if you want to beat him with or without the celestial weapons. First of all you will be on the airship to face sin, remember to trigger tidus or rikku to move the airship. When you attack sins arms he will stay motionless for several turns before deciding to attack you.  Keep attacking sin until you have taken out the left side of his arms and the right side. Then you will go onto the next stage.

Sinspawn Genais And Sins Core: You will be able to go onto sins body. Defeat the sinspawan, his weakness is fire so sue fireaga on it. watch out for the core it will start to bullied up for a devastating, attack on you. So make sure you kill it, because the core unleashes that attack.

Overdrive Sin :   Now…. For this battle he will bullied up his OD, defeat him before he does that or it is game over for you. His OD will build up very slowly giving you enough time.

Seymour Omnis: You will have to face him inside sin, he will have some black magic plates called mortiphasm. There will be four colours orangey red for fire, yellow for lightning, blue for water and purplish white for blizzard. When all 4 are the same colour for instance all 4 is for fire use blizzard black magic to attack. Sometimes the mortiphasm will change to a different element so watch out Seymour will use ultima later on so also watch out for that. Sometimes when you use tidus, auron the guys with swords, to attack Seymour he will rotate the mortiphasm. So that can be a little disadvantage on there.

There is more bosses beyond this one but, I chose not to carry on with it for reasons so I stopped here. I think you should try to figure it out on how to defeat those ones. ^-^

Great work with the second part of your massive walkthrough, it was even bigger than the first half. Totaled you wrote almost 9,000 words! Anyways, I think you are extremely descriptive and very thorough with every section of your walkthrough. You also give great advice and techniques on how to beat each character which can really come in handy for someone who has never played it before. I can tell you know right off the bat that this is going to be very useful for those who don't know what to do in the game, they can just come here to your detailed walkthrough and get all of the answers and info! 

Overall great job as always and it came out great. Keep up the good work and you should continue to keep making more walkthroughs in the future.

Thank you for the second half of your walkthrough! I never knew of Wings to Discovery or Chocobo Wing. Thanks to you, I finally understand how to get Anima... But I never really understood Blitzball that much... Maybe I should read the tutorial

Impressive, Enii. Now, I'm wondering how long it takes to make a 100% completion for this game. All these side quests, how to beat the bosses... maybe I'll try this game someday ^^

Well....since I finally remember how to do my screenshots. I want to update my post on about the battle with lady yunalesca. She has 3 stages like I said to beat her. And I took some screenshots, so you will now know what I mean.....I didn't do from her first stage, but started from her second stage. '-'

Great job on the second part of your walkthrough you covered all the hardest bosses and I never knew that there was a hp break limit item in this game which made sin really hard I will have to play this game again and I will be using the new information you gave me thank you again.
