So I have a crush on this girl in my Chemistry 101 class. I've only been having it for a little while because I've been focused on other things and just meeting new people in general, but I'm sure that this is at least a moderate one because I think about her ALL the time!!!?

We sit nowhere near each other in class. In lecture (once a week), there usually isn't a spot by her and in lab (once a week too but on another day), we have assigned tables and she's almost nowhere near me!!?

I don't think I've ever seen her out of class. I rarely ever see anyone from my classes on campus.?

I've never met her before & I wanna change that!?
She's tall, looks so grown up/mature to me and she seems to really know what she's doing, especially in lab & I like that about her!?

And I'm saying last minute our semester ends in the middle of December and from the syllabus, the last day of lecture is 12/9!!!

What can I do here? This is SO last minute!?

I mean, thank GOD there's a GOOD chance she's not a senior since this is a 101 class, but still?

Bring up the subject you're talking about before class.  Ask her what else she's doing with that class.  Is she majoring?  Is she just getting by?  You asking questions will give you the answers you want without being direct to make you feel shy.  She'll talk and how she responds tells you what she thinks.

Go talk.  Practice makes this sort of thing easy and you should learn to interact with strangers.  That'll make you more confident.  If this one doesn't work out, maybe the next one will.  You won't ever know until you take the plunge.  Chat with her about the class, about her goals, and take it from there.

Why are the other girls the problem? Could you not casually just try to "join the group" first? If you are in, it would not be even so odd just to talk to her alone sometime. Maybe I am not the right person to talk about girl to girl dynamics which I have at times found odd but whatever you do be brave and confident.

Talking with this girl is going to be the best thing you can do.. get her insight on how she can view things.. speaking with somebody is one of the best ways you can get to learn to know them.. and eventually see if that person has feelings for you.
