Simple thread title inspired by something someone said in the summon thread.


what do you remember from when we were all kids? I remember Crystal Pepsi and when I brought it up to some of the kids I was going to college with at the time (it was a first year class that I was taking to complete my electives while in my 4th year) and they had no idea what I was talking about.

So, what do you guys remember?

I remember Crystal Pepsi as well. I miss it. I also miss Surge(points to nickname) but that had soooo much caffeine in it. 

I also remember, as I said in the summon thread, Versus Books. I actually kind of miss them. I considered them better than Brady Games & waaaaay better than Prima. Now I'm feeling nostalgic. I wonder if they still make them.....

I liked the idea of crystal Pepsi but not the taste.  I remember skateboarding and rollerblading in places I shouldn't have been.  There was also a song "Go Ninja Go Ninja Go" by Vanilla Ice, that was sweet.

The jump from 2800 baud to 5600 baud was epic. ?TI-82 calculators so you could play homebrew games in class. ?Linking a gameboy with someone to whomp them at tetris (it was the only game everybody had that could do that). ?I'm going way back here, anybody remember Red Light Green Light? ?

Eirinn : At least Ma-Ti could read the animals' minds. That was kind of neat.

On a side note, the one who talks for Ma-Ti's monkey Suchi also talks for Megatron in the Transformers cartoons, Fred Jones in the Scooby cartoons, & a bunch of voices in other cartoons.

I used to watch Boy meets world too. Though I have to say I cant remember much from it. I guess they all grew up and Corey (?) finally found out he wants to be with Topanga even if she was his first love instead of going to going all experimental in college.
