http://serebii.net/xy/fairytype.shtml  So, I checked on Serebii to check which Pokémon are now Fairy Types, and I eventually scrolled down enough to see that Arceus, the god of all Pokémon, has turned into a pure Fairy.  I found this funny, that the god of all Pokémon is a fairy.  I wanted to hear your guys' thoughts on this.

I'm not too fond of Game Freak changing existing Pokemon's types to fairy. There are some that make sense, but some I don't buy at all. (Granbull is pure fairy type? WTF)

But, yeah, it was kind of dumb what they did to some of the Pokemon. I mean, most Pokemon, it was logical to turn them into Fairies, like Clefairy or Gardevoir. But some things were complete ludicrous, like Arceus or Granbull.

I think it would've made more sense to make Snubbull/Granbull dual type with Normal being the other type.

As for Granbull not looking feminine, look at it from another perspective. There are plenty of female dogs & you know what female dogs are called. Something that's called that would definitely look like they want to beat the snot out of something.

Well Granbull is the Fairy Pokemon so it would be fitting if it were to change to a Fairy type. However, I will agree that it is hard to tell that its a Fairy type except for it's pink(ish) color. 

As for the Arceus thing I'm not too surprised. Now if it's pure Fairy without a plate well... weird but if it has a Fairy Plate I sorta expected GameFreak to make a new item for Arceus. I mean after all if he is the "god" of all Pokemon then wouldn't he have to have all of the types including Fairy?

I found the Pixie Plate myself in the Pokémon Village. It would be pointless to make a Fairy type plate for Arceus and make it a Fairy type by default. Serebii must have made a mistake, and it's safe to assume that Arceus remains a Normal type by default.

It will be able to switch in on Draco Meteors and Outrage sprees with no problem. And plus, it also resists Fighting and Dark, and no one uses Steel and Poison attacks in ubers.

In all honesty, I do not mind that Arceus is a fairy type. Fairy types aren't really weak in X and Y anyways, and it will certainly shake things up in WiFi battling.
