When is this site going to allow me to play PS2 online? PS2 is getting pretty old right now and should be a retro system. So I don't know why I still can't play it.

I would hardly call PS2 retro. This website is never going to get anything past the 64 bit era. Consoles that are in the Video Game Room are NOT playable and likely never will be. And yes, there are reasons, mainly financial and technical.

It cant be a 100%
There has to be a PS2 item,later.if there was the PSX will become cheap.i mean by "cheap" by useless.however i like psx more.
Another reason is that some game might do a server strain,it isn't 100& impossible

Konekodemon : I don't think the PS2 will be added anytime soon, mostly because, it may have been discontinued earlier this year, but it still ain't really classified as Retro yet because some PS2 games are still being sold in game stores (as those discount games) and two, it pretty much won't be added anytime soon because the PS2 is a 6th generation console and we're in the 7th and just entering the 8th generation.

Mostly the reason it ain't added, due to the amount of hardware needed and it's pretty much "Current hardware", also, David ain't planning on adding any 6th, 7th, or 8th Generation consoles or handhelds anytime soon (with the exception of the Game Boy Advance), because with all the hardware needed to create one and a lot of other problems to.
