My favorite Vanilla biome is the new Meza biome, getting hardened clay easily, without spending too much time looking for clay and coal. But my favorite mod biome (found in FTB) is the Autumn Woods biome, with all the pretty leaves colors.

there is lot of biomes in minecraft that i like i like the forest biome the extreme hills biome and the jungle biome. but i think that the best biome in the game is the ocean/island biome. it adds a good challenge to your minecraft. it add plenty of difficelty and isgerat when you mod it. it make it so no just can walk in and b good at it. just try to beat a boss like the ender dragon. i gest wither would be easy compard to the dragon but still it wont be easy just give a serviel island a try and see it is not the easyes thing to do in minecraft but nomather what you do it will always be fun just you see

I personally would go with the Jungle Biome. It's really fun and you could interact with ocelots and make a house so high up in the trees that overlook the mobs, etc. I also like the Taiga Biome, which is a mixture of a snowy biome and a grassland biome.

I love the extreme hills biome and the jungle biome, but my favorite is the ice plains biome. They seem to last forever and it's so great that instead of rain, snow falls and coats the ground. It's like a winter wonderland without feeling cold. I usually make a house or spawn at the convergence of several different biomes since it's so cool to be near several of them at once.

I like Mushroom biomes (as long as they're big).

They're unique compared to all the other biomes, they have special properties, and they are also rare; I would love to find one in single player Survival.

My favourite is the dark oak biome. When i'm on multiplayer, i love building short houses in these wonderful biomes because griefers can never find them and even if they do track it down, i'll always be ready to defend it. It looks beautiful, as well.

I really enjoy the jungle. 
There is a lot to explore, climb and it is one of the places where a dungeon will spawn. 

I love to build linking tree houses with bridges from tree to tree. It kinda reminds me of the Ewok's village in Star Wars.
