What was the most disappointing final boss you have ever fought?
For me it was the final boss from final fantasy 12. He didn't even scratch me even though through that entire game I would struggle through every horribly strong boss they had and then he just whimpers in my face and dies.

I was dissapointed in the final boss in Golden Sun,the Fusion Dragon.
it had just 5000 Hp and the best level to beat it was level 30.
in my opinion Deadbeard was even harder to defeat as fusion dragon because he always uses Ward and impact to boost his Defense and Offense. i dunno how much hp he gotbut i thought the battle would last forever. also he used One-hit kills.

Maybe its just me, but any Final Fantasy boss. My two favorite Final Fantasy's are Final Fantasy 8 and Final Fantasy 10. This might be because I get all the ultimate weapons and deck my characters out. By the time I get to the final boss I barely have to look at them for them to die. This is especially true of Final Fantasy 10.

I was disappointed by the final boss from Sonic Colors. I don't know, it just was a little too easy for me. Actually, it was really anticlimactic. I was very disappointed.

I wonder what the character limit on this thing is.

Most of the final bosses from the Final Fantasy games, because they were pretty easy if you ask me.

Also, the boss from Mega Man Starforce 3 RJ or BA, Crimson Dragon is a disappointment. If you know how to decently play, you're set.

I think that Bowser at the end of Super Mario Sunshine is really disappointing because he is way too easy. It is a great game, and I want a simi-hard boss.

Koda : In My opinion FF10 was Disappointing. I mean, Sin was one heck
of a fight, but once the Eidolons were taken over it was too easy. I mean I had all of them capped over 9,999 and when I fought them they dropped like flies pretty much! It was too easy for such an amazing game

Barathemos : Yes, I agree with you. For a difficult game, the final battle sure is a cakewalk. When I first got it for the GameCube and played it, I was like:

"Kid's game? More like hardest *bleep* ever!"

I would have to say the final boss for The Incredible Hulk for SNES. Can't even describe how annoying this was. Fairly challenging game, and this is the final boss--

Bowser will always be the most disappointing boss especially in Super Mario 64 where you simply grab him by his tail and throw him into a bomb thing and it only takes like three tries yes he learns useful tricks but that is a pretty weird way to hurt.
Think about it he lost the first time with those and the second time and yet the third and he still even had those there.
What a idiot!

For me, the battle with the Destroyer in Darksiders. I beat him the first time and only lost like a bar of health if that and sat there going "really....? That's it?" I was saddened. The ending was amazing and I love the game to death but that's still really sad for me that the Destroyer was so easy. :/

The fisrt one that comes to mind is Bowser from Super Mario Galaxy 2. The music for the final boss is great, the setting feels like a final boss, but it was the easiest boss ever. It had great potential, but was way too easy.

Another bad boss was from Dewy's Adventure on the Wii. To win, you have to die, and then the things you save throughout the game revive you, and you win through a cutscene. I wasn't really expecting much, so it kind of gets a pass.

I got about two I can add to this, current day games though but still greatly disappointing as any.

So my first one would have to be the "final boss" of Fallout 3, Colonel Autumn, in the final fight for the Jefferson Memorial and the Enclaves last stand. It was so simple. Just him and and a couple of soldiers. The dude wears no protection whatsoever and you can just kill him instantly in VATS. You think after marching through hell with Liberty Prime helping you plow down the forces that at least a harder fight would be waiting for just you inside. NOPE. Just a man in a trench coat with two idiot body guards. But it is what it is.

The next most disappointing boss for me was probably the Lambent Brumak in Gears of War 2. I love that game and series to death and i'm not someone who argues with people that it being better than others and all that. But man, after all that work to get through the game, taking down countless Locusts left and right and the big finisher is flying around in a helicopter taking pot shots at an overgrown mutant that's stuck in the ground. The only way you could die from he thing is if you couldn't pull the trigger, couldn't aim for nothing, or just got up and walked away for a bit while you left the game going.

The only classic game coming to mind at the moment with a not so great final boss was probably Mother Brain from the old Metroid for NES. I mean it is a pretty simple fight, if you fall into the lava and stuff its your own fault sure but not too much threatened me when fighting her..umm..it. Its just one fight I personally thought wasn't that big of a deal. I'm just glad that later on though that Mother Brain puts up way more of a fight in the games after the first one.

Fallout New Vegas Dead Money DLC "Father Elijah"
This meanie gets his super mutant guard konocks you out in BoS bunker with gas and plants a explosive collar on you making you do all this crap then when you go through hell and to the end you can Kill Elijah which is easy to kill in VATS or you can trap him in the Sierra Madre vault
It just didn't seem great to me all the hell throughout the dlc just to kill and old man I mean come on
