This is pretty self explanatory. Who is your childhood hero? (Or was) For my answer, and I know this may sound ridiculous, but Charles Martinet, the voice actor for Mario, Luigi, Wario, and the baby brothers. He's a real inspiration. He always says to do what you love and to follow your heart. And his voice made Mario what he is now. When Charles applied to be the voice of Mario, no one knew what Mario looked like until Charles made up a voice. And I also love Mario games. So, Vizzards...who is your childhood hero?

I grew up on wrestling, when I was young I learned to love or hate the characters, but when I started getting older I realized the work put in and the amazing stories of the road and backstage. You can only grow to respect some of them, as a child though I remember wanting to be Sting from WCW, I loved his positive blonde role model character, but when he came back as the darker Crow-like character used to really fire me up, when he would take it to Hulk and the N.W.O. Now knowing what I know about him as an adult and still watch him wrestle at the age of 53 is an inspiration in itself and Sting continues to be one of my heroes.

I also have to give side credit to Batman, Goku and the Ninja Turtles. As my fictional heroes, they still were heroes in my eyes back than.

If you can call them heros The Chemical Brothers have done it for me. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be doing anything on anvil studio (like on earthwarriors pokemon hack, which I now am mapping for aswell). They have been my favourite musicians for a long time. I have all there albums, since "Exit Planet Dust" to "Further".

Awesome-Kid : No, no, no. I mean a family member or somebody that's been an inspiration to you. But maybe I shouldn't be so judgmental...

I guess my grandfather is the one I most admire he is very influential and I hope to someday work at a bank like he did I hope I don't take my mother's job though I really dislike hospitals it is filled with sick people.

This is probably going to sound corny but my childhood hero was Ronald Reagan. He was in office when I was very young and what I always admired about him was that every time he came on the TV my parents would stop everything they were doing to listen to him.

I would have to say my grandfather was my all time hero in my life. Growing up was pretty lonely for me, I was kind of an awkward kid who just had a hard time making friends. But that aside, my grandpa was like my dad but also my best friend. My parents worked night and day to make sure I had food, a roof over my head, and all the toys I had. Now don't get me wrong, I love my parents to death and some may ask why aren't they my heroes? Well...they weren't there for me all the time. But every day my grandpa would either pick me up and take me to his house and spend time with him and grandma or stay with me until my dad got home.

The big reason my grandpa is my hero is because he taught me the very things in life that every kid should know..at least now but sadly good values aren't the biggest thing anymore, from my point of view anyways. He taught me politeness, he taught me chivalry, he taught me how to be a man and show my emotions instead of bottling them up. He taught me the values of money and what its like to be a hard worker. He had the best intentions for me and wanted the very best for me and I can't thank him enough. He had big dreams for me when I got older and now i'm living them.

Thus far the proudest moment of my life, not for my grandpa alone but also for myself, was the day of my grandfathers passing..I sat down with him and told him how wonderful my life has become thanks to him. And i'm living his dream and mine. I'm one of the few children of the family to go into college. Seeing him smile for that last time and hearing him tell me that he loved me was the saddest yet happiest moment of my life. He spent his last years of life helping raise me and shape me into a great guy. And that;s why my grandpa is my hero, he inspired me to be all I can be and give it all I got. I'm doing everything I can to make him proud.

I'm not gonna name a family member, just because I don't want to pick favorites.

Probably Abraham Lincoln. I know, I don't personally know him, or else I would have no idea how to use a computer.

But, I mean, he was willing to start a war for his country -- just to save it from withering away. I don't know why, but that gesture of his always made me respect him.

goodboy : Inspiring. I couldn't agree more

DittoDude44 : I love how you said that as if you're, like, 19 years of age.

zerothesaint : My respect has now gone to you. Well said...well said.
