Hi everyone I'm going back to the threads I did besides from doing poems or writing stories. The question is as you saw which RPG game that you played made you cry the most like the story wise, music, characters etc its any RPG game. You can name a few so heres mine:

Local Mods if I put this in the wrong forum please move it....

Mine is Final fantasy 9
The ending just did it for me I was in tears..... then the music made me cry more because of how good it sounded...

Final Fantasy 10
I have played this game for years. There were some parts in the game when I cried like the love seen between Tidus and Yuna. They played (Suteki Da Ne) that's song is so emotional and amazing. I tell you till this day when I watch that scene I still cry, that's the effect it has on me. I'm sure with, you too it has as well. Not only that the ending.....don't even get me started I was crying for hours after I completed the game. So I was sad I don't want to complete it now but, do challenges like unlock a mega bosses and defeat it. ^^

Final fantasy 10-2 yes even though people don't like this one
Most of the story made me cry I even got to know more of the hidden story to do with Zanarkand like the couple Shuyin and Lenne .Tidus and Yuna are so much like them, the song that Yuna sang made me cry 1000 words......thats what the song is called and for the ending....well If you complete the game 100% you will get the whole ending. I was happy with how they ended it with Yuna being so happy and reuniting with her love, yep Tidus. ^^

Final fantasy13
I wasn't sure what to expect of the game.....It looked good I had to play it. So I did they have some good soundtracks in this game. So... the ending made me cry......it was sad....

Kingdom hearts 2
Now I really adore this game the opening music is so cool! So if you played the first one you would know what will happen story wise. There were some sad scenes that went on but.....I felt sorry for Roxas when he left and they played his theme song. That made me cry..... and what made me cry more was the scene when Sora reunited with Riku. They played (Friends In My Heart) it was sad but, yet pleasing to see them both together and Sora cried.....ok for the ending when Riku and Sora was able to go back to Destiny Island. I was happy that Sora Riku and Kairi were back together again. They played that opening music again called (Sanctuary), the music that made me cry the most was (Dearly Beloved Reprise)......when it said *The End* it played, I felt hollow inside because I was sad.....

That's it for me, name yours please and give some details. ^-^

Eniitan : I don't cry much, but the ending or Final Fantasy 14-2 was sad. Not really much to say.

If it counts I would say the Majora's Mask. Some people consider this game as a RPG.

There are a few things that I consider spoilers for those who don't want to know.

The last few minutes of the final day is really depressing. Knowing that all of the people you helped and all of the things you did were going to go away. The town is deserted since most people evacuated but there are a few that can not leave. The most depressing part is how all of the children you played hide and seek with are all going to get killed as well.

The final cut scene (of the final day, not the end of the game) shows Clock Town being destroyed by the Moon in a nuke like fashion, and then finally a meteor heads towards Link killing him too.

I never really cry for a game, but the Blue Rescue Team of the Mystery Dungeon series was sad. He was being transported back, everyone crying, and all that. Ridiculous, sure, but if you play the games, it makes sense.

Also, some of the Final Fantasy games are pretty sad.

I never really got sad playing any RPG games but the closes I got to it would be Pokemon Red Rescue team that was some really touching stuff in the game and I hate to spoil it of course so I shouldn't continue talking about it.

Mr. Zed : But what about the stuff about Cubone and it's mother. How team rocket killed his mom and stuff. You know in the pokemon tower in Lavender town. I guess that counts as being depressing.

I know this is more of a graphic novel/puzzle game. But I don't really play RPG's often. Mine was Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. It was like all the other games, nothing that bad happened, until the last chapter.
Spoiler:
Where youlearn that Layton's girlfriend didn't actually die, but she still has to go back to the explosion where everyone thought she died to be killed off for real, leaving Layton crying, and begging for her to stay. And the real villain was with you this whole time in hopes for you to save him from himself, like Layton did in the past when he saved him from running into the fire from the explosion, thinking his parents were in there. And Bill Hawkes, the person you were trying to save, was actually responsible for all the bad things that happened, and he is full aware of it. But isn't sorry one bit. And to top it all off, Luke has to move away, not being able to visit Layton anymore. And they have a really teary goodbye.
It might not sound so bad reading it. But having to watch the cutscenes, and their exact quotes really pull out the sadness of that last bit.

Call me a wimp but I cried for 10 whole minuets at the end of explorers of sky.

Edit: Okay maybe 10 minutes is an exaggeration but I did cry for quite a while.

I'm gonna say Kingdom Hearts II, after it broke and I finally found it again after years. It was amazing. I heard the soothing piano music playing when the copyrights rolled... I cried. Litterally. That's the most emotional I ever got over and RPG.

I cried for a while at the end of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.  There were many little touches to the ending that furthered my tears, and the game has become my favorite.  Most of the tears were happy tears.  Amazing game with an amazing ending/story for a Nintendo game.

Most games do not really affect me much, but FF7 and the Legend of Dragoon really tore at my heart strings at places.  I am a sap for RPG stories when you can really get attached to characters.

I'm not really sure if it's an rpg game or not, but I think it is. So, the game that (I'm assuming is a RPG) made me cry the most and still does every time I play the game. It is Final Fantasy Echoes of Time for Nintendo 3DS. Saddest story ever!!!!!! D,: It still makes me cry. Great game to play as well. ^^

Mr. Zed : I don't have a problem with it. Just giving you a hard time But it really depends on what your interests are. Are you more interested in in depth story to go along with game play? I would assume not if pokemon is the only RPG that appeals to you. Many might disagree, but Pokemon has no real in depth story. It is generic in that it is always the same and very undeveloped. You are trying to earn badges, catch Pokemon, and beat the Elite 4. But almost none of the events that happen in these games really essential to the overall story. So my question before I made any suggestions would be do you prefer to stick with the game that focuses more on the leveling up and the story is more secondary like Pokemon, or does a detailed and super involved plot and story line that is developed and active the whole way through? Either way, I have suggestions.

Mr. Zed : I think I got a good best of both worlds one. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the 7 Stars. Problem is, if your only means of playing it in the RGR, the ROM has points where it freezes for most people. If you have a Wii you can download it onto, do that. But there is a thread that tells you how you can fix the freezing problem with the ROM in the RGR, so I guess using the RGR should still be good.

For a non turn based combat RPG (where you take turns attacking) that is super in depth story would be Secret of Mana. That game is VERY long though. It will take you way longer to beat that than any Pokemon game. For a heavy story turn based battle system (like Pokemon battle system), Chrono Trigger is a good choice. Again, super long. There are also multiple endings depending on what you do throughout the game.

For one that is turn based fighting (again, like Pokemon), but not as story based, I would say Earthbound. Many would disagree with me when I say the story is not as in depth. Like Pokemon, a lot of the events that happen aren't directly linked to the overall story. They are separate things that are happening that happen to get in the way of your quest. I think that it is pretty common for Pokemon fans to like Earthbound (super nintendo), so that might be the one for you. I prefer the other ones. Of the suggestions I made, Mario RPG and Secret of Mana would be my picks.
