So, is bacon overrated? There are bacon T-shirts, bacon boxer shorts, even bacon analog clocks.

Personally, I think bacon is extremely overrated. Don't get me wrong, I like bacon, but it isn't so amazing that it deserves thousands of bacon-themed accessories. Why aren't accessories named after ham, or maybe chicken salad croissants? I just don't think bacon totally awesome.

I like bacon but I like sausage better. So would I say it is overrated, maybe, it is just funny the way you dedicate an entire thread to saying bacon is overrated. I like my bacon when it is burnt and crisp, I don't like it when it is soft and fleshy, it just looks gross when it is like that. I don't think it should be so popular to where accessories are being made out of it, I can understand t shirts, but an alarm clock? I can see where you are coming from, so yeah, bacon is overrated in my opinion.

No I don't think bacon is overrated here people rarely even eat bacon I believe that cereal is the most common breakfast I rarely even see anyone eat bacon anymore.

I don't really think so. I don't think it is as hyped as you are making it out to be. Sure, those bacon themed items exist, but I don't think they are some crazed obsession or anything. I don't see people going nuts over all these bacon themed things. But bacon is probably used because it is so easy. The long thin shape makes them easy to use as other things like clocks. Imagine trying to use mashed potatoes for the hands of a clock. Just an example. But they really aren't some super hyped up fad. Just an easy food to use in an accessory.

The food itself can NEVER be overrated. Bacon is amazing.
