The human centipede is not what I call a horror movie, There are some ere aspects to it but It just makes you feel sick. It is just really gross, and is not a film to eat popcorn, or any food, whilst watching.

I've seen Human Centipede I&II, they didn't particularly bother me, but I did enjoy the movies. Whoever thought of the Human Centipede is definitely not on my bucket list of people to meet. But the only part of the second movie that bothered me [spoilers if you haven't watched it] is when the black woman gives birth in the car and then smashes the fetuses head in.

I still won't watch this movie. There's only so much gross factor I can take and from what I've heard, this movie would be shut off before I even got a chance to get into it. I jut can't stand movies that would completely gross me out. Horror to me isn't a bunch of gross disgusting gore. It's something that will actually scare you, not gross you out.

Courage is not having the strength to go on, it's going on when you don't have the strength. ????

It was very, very, very strange. It was not a good movie at all.

I never watched it. The responses from the poor souls on this thread confirm my fears. What horrific mind spawned such abominations?

Honestly, I don't see what the big deal was. Sure it was bizarre. But I don't think it deserved the hype for being so difficult and revolting to watch. I think that Nightmare on Elm Street movies went way farther than this movie did. The only thing about this is they took a single thing and made a whole movie around that instead of having a bunch of twisted stuff like Nightmare on Elm Street movies.

The second one did have more messed up stuff. The fetus head crush was one, as mentioned. But the part with the sandpaper and the part with the barbed wire (uncut version) made me cringe mainly on the pain factor.

I am not a fan of any horror movies or anything creepy. I like comedies. Comedies are fun. SO no, I have never watched that movie, not do I intend to.

I've heard of this. I haven't watched it yet, but due to all of the negativity, and apparently how "gross" it is, I have to. One day next year (since I probably will have too much work for a movie night this year), I will watch it. And I will try to enjoy it.

The movie was actually the talk of my school when I was in high school. The movie had so much hype but was so under budgeted that the gross factor was not able to go as far as it could have gone to make this an odd award winning movie. Though I am mortified to say this but am I the only one who actually enjoyed it to an extent? By that I mean that it was just weird and interesting how the scientist was actually able to do that..... but anyways I tried watching #2 but again it was too underbudgeted as well as too boring that I never got through it even though I hear it was not as good.

I actually enjoyed watching it. I think the doctor is a very good actor and I enjoyed his performance a lot.

Besides the disgusting scenes, I was compelled. I was definitely at the edge of my seat for the ending scenes of the film. This movie taps into many fears - kidnapping, psychopaths. And it goes beyond tapping into the fear of murder, to extreme torture.

It's comparable to any movie horror movie with torture or gore that makes you squirm. For me it was similar to watching Saw, in that there are a few scenes that really grossed me out, but that's what I came for.

This movie is definitely for adult horror lovers only.
