Yeah, I know this is strange, but what is your favorite President? It can be a President or Vice President. And if you're a member, post a picture of him. Personally, I'd pick Harry S. Truman. He was a big help to the economy. (33rd president)

My favorite US president would be either George Washington(1st president) or Abraham Lincoln(16th president). I like George Washington because he helped put together the country when it was just starting and I like Abraham Lincoln because of his efforts to end slavery in the US.

While I would like to mention Jefferson or Adams (The first Adams.)..

Achievements?
Many, but the one that stands out the most?

He was "the only President to balance the budget".
(Kinda funny for an old soldier to do what every other "Desk Jockey" could not.)

Granted it is not the most "P.C." of choices but I dig the real life legends as opposed to the fake ones in fiction.
I can also talk about some of the wonderful wounds he got too but that's for a day when I feel like typing.
When you read about this guy you literally do a double take and reread some of the paragraphs on the page because it is some of the funniest stuff to ever read about for a President. Ever.

Nixon, yes many will see him as a horrible president but we are the country we are today because of him.

I do not know that I actually have a favorite president. But, if I were forced to pick one as my favorite, I would have to say Andrew Jackson. I am related to him by marriage.

I think Abraham lincolon is my favorite president, mostly because all of what he did, he was a great president and after seeing the movie I really have come to appreciate all that he did for our country.

I also liked ronald regan as well, he was also a good president as well, at least in my opinion. I think a few presidents really stand out, but these are my 2 favorite besides george washington.

I think Ronald Reagan is awesome solely because he liked jellybeans. A lot.

I also like Abraham Lincoln because he had a cool beard.

And JFK (John F. Kennedy, not John F. Kerry) because he looked the most handsome.

I like Jimmy Carter. He was a good President over his term. Down in Georgia while visiting relatives, we took a train down to Plains, GA. He was there, and I shook his hand, talked, and got a pic with him. I liked JFK's intentions, too. Poor guy was gunned down before he could put his amazing plans into action. Here are some pics.

Lex Luthor.  lol just kidding :-).  And I like Carter too.  Not the smartest President, but a good man, for sure.  FDR is probably my favorite president, though.  His fireside talks and instituted programs got a struggling nation back on its feet.  I think several of the programs he instituted have lost a bit of what they were supposed to be, though.

My favorite US President is Abraham Lincoln, he is really inspirational and freed the slaves and bought happiness to the African-Americans.
