Virtua Fighter was an anime series about the 3D fighting game under the same name by Sega-AM2 that first aired in 1995 in Japan.  Virtua Fighter's plot was about Akira Yuki and his quest to find the eight stars that show a warrior's true strength.  In his quest, encounters new allies such as Pai Chan, Jacky Bryant, and Sarah Bryant to stop the evil martial arts gang: Koenkan.  Other characters in the Virtua Fighter games such as Wolf Hawkfield, Kage Maru, Lau Chan, Lion Rafale, and Shun Di also make appearances in the show.

Hmm... Well, I actually still have a ps2 game called Virtua fighter 4 and I remember playing that game a long time ago but I never heard of Virtua fighter Anime though. . . Ahh... good times.

A youtuber named the Angry Video Game Nerd reviewed this game for the Sega 32x. The game was terrible, so how could the show be good? To answer your question, I have never seen the anime before. I don't think I would watch it anyways.

I have heard about this game before and I have briefly seen the anime come on tv before but I never saw it for myself. I guess it sounds interesting but I have never watched it before. I don't even know if it comes on anymore.


I am not sure I would watch it because I am not really into anime that much, there are a few that I used to briefly watch if you consider DBZ to be anime, but I don't watch it anymore. I have kind of stopped watching tv altogether because of all of the lousy stuff that comes on and the lame stuff that dominates channels like disney, nick and cartoon network, so I just don't watch tv that much anymore. I have heard of this before and I know what you are talking about, but I have never actually seen it on tv before.

I never heard of it but based on the title it sounds like DNZ to me since they are virtual and fight in that anime.
I'm guessing the anime is pretty old since the title isn't catchy to me at all.
