Introduction: Hi vizzed and readers Time to review another game,This 1 is the start of 1 of the greatest Fighting game franchises,Developed and Published by The same people who made the soul cailbur series"aka" the team of Namco. This 1 along with street fighter Mortal Kombat, Soul cailbur really made up for a fierce battle of the 90's and all had something in common,They were great memorable fighters and continued to live on in a legacy. Now for the tekken franchise It mainly consisted of Lot's of different characters and started out to be 1 of the 1st 3d fighters like Virtua fighter,Street fighter Ex,and so on and so forth, 3d fighting games were rather starting to take position,and started beginning to be more common during the time this game was released. I've reviewed numerous tekken games,and my expectations of them were really nice for the time they were released,As for Tekken 1 ,The original start off to this excellent series, I'm gonna review the Arcade original version,Which can be played on vizzed perfectly,and what I mean by this game runs perfectly,Unlike Tekken 2 and the other Tekken games on this site. Tekken 1 has no bugs or graphical glitches at alll,From what I've seen from playing within this game, Of course Like the rest of the original Tekken games,Tekken 1 would Also get a Playstation Version with perfect arcade like visuals and sound,and of course A arranged/remixed soundtrack,Anyways moving on to the original Arcade version It has some rather good charm when it was new"aka" released.( I suppose I'll start talking about the Quality of this game)





The Gameplay: the Tekken series,Even from starting from the original game..., The tekken games in general Mainly Worked out in a 3d polygon environment,With You having to play and figure out various juggle combo's,Each of the characters always had a Easy path and a somewhat Hard path to do... In other words Some characters moves are easy to figure out,While other characters Take much time to pull off their dynamic crushing Killer blows. Many of the Characters Involved in this game Have you to work out there combos sometimes,by Pulling off Various mutil button presses,along with certain directional movement sometimes required.. As for tekken 1 It definitely requires more directional movement and mutil button presses, then any of the other Tekken games I've played,Anyways that's Mainly How this game works.. Controller recommendation: A gamepad or joystick at least,because Pulling The simple combo's off with a keyboard for me is pretty much a struggle to do.





The Graphics 6/10=not bad: You know for a original 1st time 3d Fighter I wouldn't say the graphics aren't too bad... ,As the gamlooks quite gentle and decent. The colors are pretty vibrant and easy on the eye's as far as I can see and Make this game along with the characters look pretty good,but however I must say The sprites or the characters Have a weird odd ego like cartoonist style to their 3d polygon look and feel, each of the characters rather have a unique Characteristic about their personality, and I admit it's 1 of those things that makes this game have a good charm. Each of the stages Have quite a unique Detail like the baseball stage really has something Like a crowd stadium that's rather really a unique feature about the graphics,The stages have a unique amount of dazzling detail again another thing that is a good charm about this classic. The animation Is not too shabby,but with the looks of the characters and movement I would say it looks alright. In other words... decent graphics for this game.





The sound 8/10 Excellent!: each of the character's voice's are unique And fit with the character looks neatly. I really feel as the characters voices felt along really neatly with there looks animation and in general the voices sounded really good for 1 of the 1st 3d fighting games.(Soundtrack: The Soundtrack has A neat killer instrumental feel to the type of the music,I listended to it and while the character select music was not all that great,but the rest of the soundtrack is rather spot on,do to It's neat dark tunes That makes the stage's have A lot of rhythm and special feel to them..in other words Good sound and awesome soundtrack,in general the Arcade soundtrack sounds pretty amazing,but the drum or bass tune I would say is a little too tiny, and In general I would probably just prefer the arranged ps1 version of this soundtrack. The sound is still great nonetheless though.





Addictiveness: Tekken was Mainly fun for the Gameplay Aka the combo's In general the game was pretty fun and the bunch of Combos and Different character style's and guides you can follow to make this game a easy sweep up charm.. In other words this game is great fun.Addictiveness rating 8/10





Story: No Real storyline Other besides to Win the King of Iron fist tournament,by beating The characters With you're neat moves,and usually fighting a boss at the end. Again this game's only ending is the footage takended from replay mode along with the staff credits..,So skipping storyline rating.





Depth:7/10 again There's really Only Arcade mode.. The PlayStation versions always got more of the chunky deal on the features modes and other stuff etc.. I'm just saying arcade mode Is fun to do,but it is quite short. The PlayStation version Allowed you to play something like galacta or some other shooter if I can remember correctly. And it still had nice modes Like survival and what not etc,Really it took me like a few hours to beat this game,because the combos were really hard for me to figure out and pull off with a keyboard..








Difficulty:8/10 This game Is rather A neat gem,but When It comes down to difficulty... Oh boy is this game pretty tuff to come over. That's mainly due to This game having a lot of challenge near the last battles,but again it's rather what could be expected from a fighter XD,Because Fighting games usually have a easy side,and then it punishes you later on during you're winning streak,and usually the ai starts to play pretty cheap against you later on.





Overall I think Tekken 1 is not a bad fighting game at all. It has some decent graphics..,A good amount of challenge..,great soundtrack and good sound variety..,and Neat and good gameplay. My overall rating of this game would be a 7.9

However, It was kind of annoying reading it because your layout made it obscenely difficult to scroll down the review and I had to dissect parts of the review bit by bit. I recommend changing this layout, especially when writing reviews. There were grammar and a lot of spelling mistakes in the review, but they were nothing to get in a state about. You also made it like we experienced the game already, and since I feel like that this game seems really fun, I do want to try it out to it seems like an a ok game. A review from Tekken how surprising I just hate how slow it is but it is just the emulator I guess not the game so if it wasn't slow I guess I would have liked the game.

That's a really fair score. The graphics for the first Tekken weren't good. Props for the scores you gave the game.
However, I'm personally not very fond with the layout for this review. There's very little room to read here, which is unpleasant to read.
But te review itself is good.
