Certainly not, I think Pokémon are more than just digital bits of data, I consider them as family almost because thee are so many of them and I have grown up with Pokémon too. It is a big part of me and a lot of my favorite games are Pokémon so I wouldn't like them if I didn't think they were special. I think they are amazing to play, collect, train and enjoy. I think the reason so many people like Pokémon is because they either grew up with it and they love it or they just like it because it reminds them of their childhood and gives them good memories. So yes Pokémon are very special to me and I enjoy them very much. Anyone who sees Pokémon as just data aren't crazy or anything, they just might not be as familiar with Pokémon like others or they might not see it as very fun and enjoyable, everyone is different, but I personally like Pokémon.
