this game was first released in march 15 2001 and I had never really heard about it.  until I borrowed it from a friend of mine. At first I didn't really like it but that's because I never was any good at it. I eventually picked it back up and since then I have become addicted to it.
 
Difficulty:its at a fair difficulty and its very long. So it will keep your attention.

Story: the story is very good its slow at the beginning but  it gets really good after you beat the first shadow geyser.

Graphics: graphics are very good for game boy color especially the battle sequence

Sound: the sound is great! all of the sound effects are unique. I was very impressed.

Music: the music is incredible for an 8-bit game. I love the music. from Vash Naroom all the way to The Cald.  but my favorite is the magi battle music.

 so its overall a good game. You play the role of Tony Jones. A suburban teenager who recently moved in to tavel gorge. Tony goes around to make some friends. some teenagers dare him to go inside a cave and retrieve a crystal. But when he gets the crystal the cave starts to crumble! He is trapped and then suddenly he is transported to the world of magi nation. A land with strange animals known as dream creatures. This game is great  so I definitely recommend  this game to anyone who likes a turn based rpg. And that's my review on magi nation.

Great review!  It's interesting that the game description says its an action game though your review mentions turn based-ness.  I believe your review because the game description is known for its devious lies.
