What Zelda game has your all time, favorite ending/cut scene/boss? Why?


   For me, Skyward Sword takes my heart because no matter how many times I play it, I always dread the ending cut scene because of, well, you know what happened. In my opinion, Demise was too easy. Well anyways, Ocarina of Time comes to a close second, followed by Majora's Mask, then Twilight Princess. Those are all the Zelda games I played so far. So, what Zelda ending broke your heart (like Skyward Sword or Twilight Princess), thought was cool (Ocarina of Time), or had a happy ending (Majora's Mask) and why?
Also, if you never finished any Zelda games, it's probably best if you don't read this forum.. I want it to be a surprise!

"Zelda 2 the Adventure of Link".
You knew when the thing was over.
The Puzzles (or Side Quests) Could Take Weeks or Months if a Person had no guide.
By the time you cleared the Final Palace. (Another Puzzle/Maze that could take Hours to Navigate or memorize a path to even get to the Final Boss.)?
Anyone would be exhausted.
When you saw the end you were relieved.
(Almost no one replayed that game.)
I am certain that you can still find really good used copies of that game to this day.

Mind if I Spice up the Thread and ask what every body's Least Favourite Zedlda Game Ending???

For me it was "The Ocarina of Time" ending.
Link goes back to being a kid???
I would have enjoyed it better if Link and Ganon were sealed away together to fight for eternity.
Or Give Link a paycheck.
A Vacation.
Anything other than make him repeat the 4th grade. (Just seems cruel.)

My favorite ending has to be from Twilight Princess, the ending is enjoyable and slightly touching as Midna left for good destroying the only way to her world by destroy the mirror.

Hm let's see. I never finished Majorca or Minish but um...

I liked/disliked how the king of the red lions was left behind but at the same time the to start a new world thing was amazing. WW
I was kinda upset that Midna had to leave in TP
I hated the cheesy ending to LA so much I don't even wanna mention
And I loved how Link finally got to have a life in OoT. He was finally able to see what he missed.

My favorite ending is easily from Skyward Sword. It's just so touching, especially for a game without any kind of voice acting aside from Link's "hyaas" and grunts. I honestly felt sad, and I think it gave the game great closure.

My favourite Zelda ending out of every Zelda game I have played would probably have to be either Wind Waker or Twilight Princess.  Both games had a great sense of accomplishment in the endings as well had good emotional pulls, especially when Midna left.  I'm sure everyone felt that at the end.  I won't say anything else so it won't get spoiled :3

Um... I think either Skyward sword or ocarina of time. I'm pretty sure i cry'd in both. 

I think that Ocarina of Time has the best ending because it shows that Link is a boss at killing Ganon. That thing is really huge. But Link is just standing there like bring it on. He kills that thing like it's like killing a stalfo. But then again you are controlling him so it doesn't really make a difference haha. But anyways, I think this is the greatest ending to a Zelda game. Even though after you beat him is pretty lame when you are running down the castle and you have to fight dumb stalfos again. Those things are really annoying.

Probably Link to the Past or Ocarina of time. I mean Link placing the Master Sword into it's resting place Forever (not really) just feels so... Meaningful. It makes you feel as if you have really accomplished something.

For me it was Ocarina of Time.  From start to finish that game was absolutely amazing to me.  So much so that at one point my brother became irritated with me because it was the only game I wanted to play and I would play it for days on end if I didn't have anything more important to do.

My favorite ending is in Ocarina of Time you can see everybody in the game having a party.My favorite zelda game with my favorite bosses I would have to say Majoras Mask the bosses are really cool there are a variety of ways to beat them.My favorite Legend of Zelda cutscene is in Twilight princess when zant literally just dominates you after the water temple.

Well, it's like Link went through all of that fighting, and he lost almost 10 years of his life over it.

sending him back in tiime gave him anotherchance, but split the universe at the same time.


But the part of the ending that I really like is how it conects to MM and TP.

Link marries Malon, Has decendants.

He looks in the lost woods for Navi, His lost fairy.

I think that in TP he is acctually wearing Ikanite armour.

they say that Navi is now in the sacred realm, because she flew into that window at the end of OOT.
In TP you get to go through that window to enter the true temple of time.

That's right, in Twilight Princess, you walk up some holographic stairs to the window and you just walk right through.

I think that the pointer is acctually Navi, watching you from a distance.

It goes down to either Ocarina of Time ending with Link stabbing Gannondorf in the head, with visible blood(I think) to kill him off, or the Twilight Princess ending, where it becomes a lot more epic/slowed down ending to build suspense to his downfall.

Link's Awakening was a great ending to an underrated and great game. A sad ending too maron pretty much becomes a bird if you get the best ending and if not the ending is the same but instead maron doesn't exist anymore along with anyone on the island and the island while you are now stranded on a broken raft.

I also liked the ending of Links Awakening ^^ I think it probably is my favorite, I don't really know why, but it was awesome ^^

I keep hearing so many things about the Skyward Sword ending! Now I really want to finish it so I can see what all the fuss is about >.<

But yes.. Of the endings I have witnessed, I love Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Twilight Princess. I'm not sure I can put those in any distinct order, as I love them all for different reasons... hehe.
