I'm a big fan of mouseless computing, and was wondering who shared my interest for keyboard-centric computer control.

How much of your system operates without a mouse? What mouseless applications do you use? Here's a list of what I use (though I don't have all of this up and running on my latest installation yet):

Vimium (Chromium plugin for mouseless browsing)

Yeah, I use the mouse a lot more than I use a centered laptop control because of the computer I am using. But I like having the mouse in the middle like on a laptop because I find it more comfortable and easy. Sometimes my computer's mouse falls off of my computer desk tray all of the time and then there is the matter of all the annoying wires that sometimes get unplugged and cause problems. That is why I hope to get a laptop by this year because it is lighter and easier to use control wise, and it is especially good since I always have homework to do, I can do it on the go with a laptop, so yes I think a laptop is better and easier to use when doing work and I like the center control over an annoying mouse with cords and plugs.

I like living without the mouse too. I use the awesome window manager, finch, links, sic, and vim mostly. But that really depends on what I'm doing. Sites like Vizzed don't play well with links, and if I'm in the mood for images, I just use regular old mouse-based stuff. I do a lot of graphics work, too, so I have to use a mouse some times.

My laptop came without a mouse got it at a sale and was really cheap but still runs really well I steer the cursor by steering it with a mouse that is attached to the laptop and is impossible to unattach.

Lazlo Falconi : Links may not support image-rich sites very well, but that's where Jumanji shines. It has Vim-like controls with all the features of a modern browser, and a very streamlined appearance. It's the best graphical mouseless browser I've found. Even in Chrom{e,ium} you can install Vimium for Vim-like functionality.

I do a lot of both. I like the mouse for browsing and key commands and shortcuts when on the desktop or type.

I don't mind the mouse, I just hate the track pad! I always plug in a usb mouse to my laptop!
