The playoffs have finally started and throughout the season, a lot of surprise teams have made it there. In the West, Thunder and Spurs were expected to be there no sweat. The Lakers fought tooth and nail to make it and even managed to take the 7th seed and came close to being 6th seed had not another surprise team made the playoffs (Warriors) won their last two games. Rockets are even another surprise as everybody wrote them off as dead before Harden and Lin showed up and the former gets to face his old team in the first round. Clippers, Grizzlies, and Nuggets really came up this year with franchise winning records for all three of them.

In the East: There were really no surprises here except the Bulls still made it without their star player, Derrick Rose all season and the Bucks posted a 38-44 record and Brandon Jennings has some grapefruits to declare a win in six against the Heat. LOL! If they do win, that'll be the 3rd straight year and 8th seed will beat a 1st seed. However I think Rockets have a better chance than the Bucks in doing that.

Predictions:

Heat will defeat the Bucks (we'll see how game 1 turns out then I'll believe Brandon)

Nets def. Bulls (Nets can go large on them)

Knicks def. Celtics (It'll be a tough one considering the bombing in Boston and that will drive the Celtics to push harder)

Hawks def. Pacers (this is a possible upset)

Thunder def. Rockets (Harden vs. his old team but they may pull an upset; Jeremy Lin n' Omar Asik and Westbrook n' Martin will be the wildcards for both sides. )

Lakers def. Spurs (Lakers proved they can win without Kobe and Spurs are pretty old and banged up themselves. It'll be a 7 game series at most. Howard needs his mentality that brought Orlando to the Finals in 2009 which included making Lebron run home crying to his mommy that year.)

Clippers def. Grizzlies (Lob City dominates even though they did it below the rim in Game 1 - one dunk the whole game from them and they still destroyed the Grizzlies)

Nuggets def. Warriors (If this was against the Clippers, I'd say the Warriors could win the series but against the Nuggets they'll have a tough time as they let a 37 year old man blow by them at the end of Game 1).

Of course Heat will sweep.
Hard 2 choose between Bulls and Nets, but Bulls might take the series.
Knicks in 5-6 games.
Hard 2 choose between Hawks and Pacers.
Spurs will def beat Lakers. No sweep, but will win the series in 5 games. Lakers ain't jack without Kobe. He's basically the whole team.
OKC will sweep.
Nuggets in 6.
Clippers will sweep the series. They're a bigger threat than the Lakers.

Black Bot : Nope. I think the Celtics are done this year. The Knicks are too strong, as Melo is playing lights out. The Celtics just need a bit of time to recover, I think. There's always next season.

Spurs are going all the way. We just need Danny Green to actually play, while Boris and Tiago need to get back healthy. This can be a blessing in disguise because I want to see some T-Mac action.

Big game for the Bulls. In 3OT, Chicago gets an 8 point lead and wins the game
Final Scores:
Brooklyn Nets - 134
Chicago Bulls - 142
This time at home. The Atlanta Hawks defeat the Indiana Pacers by a
lot.
Final scores:
Indiana Pacers - 69
Atlanta Hawks - 90
That's what I got.

megamanmaniac : Made it a little too early did we not?
Anyway the Lakers and the Bucks have gone fishing with broomsticks up their backsides and the Rockets are looking to do the same.

Houston survives to fight another day and almost did that the game before. Now it's survival mode for the Nuggets. Warriors surprised me big time.

I'll sticky this one since it is actually getting attention.
Black Bot:  Stop posting results and stuff.  If you want to do that, talk about them.
How about those Celtics?  Not too bad, but I say they lose in 7.
I really hope the bulls get past the nets in game six.  However, Hinrich will be needed.
I'll say now that the Spurs will win the west.  I don't think OKC can compete with veterans without Westbrook (or Harden for that matter),
The Heat aren't a lock for the East, but if the bulls lose I will say they get to the finals.
I'm thinking SA wins it all though.  They're too good when healthy.

Wow, the Hawks were down big and only scored 29 points in the whole half. I went to that game and I was very disappointed with that. But, the Hawks also made a comeback to all the way back to three. Sadly, the Hawks got eliminated.

Wow, 4 teams got sent fishing today: Celtics, Hawks, Rockets and Clippers. I hope the Warriors win it all now since they are California's last remaining hope for a title.

Really hoping my Grizzles end up beating the Thunder and make it to the Finals. Would love to see them go up against the Spurs in the West Championship game.

No question Miami wins the East, unless LeBron, Wade, or Bosh get injured and can't play the rest of the post-season.

I cant believe some people thought the Pacers would lose to the Hawks. They are 1 win away from beating the Knicks to go to the East Finals. I also think they at least have a shot at beating the Heat since they are saying Wade is injured. This could be a huge year for Pacer fans. I also am impressed by Memphis leading OKC 3 games to 1. That's a pretty big surprise even with the injury to Westbrook. These playoffs have actually been pretty interesting since many teams are playing way better than originally thought. Of course some of the major players like the Spurs and the Heat are doing well.
